A/C making weird noise

The A/C is making a weird noise, It whines a little bit, kind of like the sound of a supercharger, its not too loud but definitely noticeable.  It also idles a little bit different but not all the time.  I took it to the dealer but apparently they were not able to find anything wrong
has anyone experienced this issue?  my car is a 2008 gxp 5 speed

Id appreciate any help i can get

Yep - My 2008 GXP is making the same exact noise as yours. It gets worse when the engine gets hot and it does seems to affect the idle. I'll be headed off to the posted link to see what's been said. I just wanted you to know you aren't alone!

They fixed mine so take the data from the link and get yours fixed also.

Mine is getting done this week, the dealer looked at the TSB DeepblueGXP posted and ordered the parts.

thanks for all the replies guys

I will be taking my car back to the dealership this week.  Last time they told me they took my car for a test drive and were not able to find anything wrong.  This time I will make sure they know what I am talking about, even if it involves me taking the technician for a test drive.

Take the TSB DBG posted that's what I did, tells them exactly what to do and what parts to order. I actually just emailed it to them, he read it and told me to stop by, they have a policy of I have to come in before they order parts. He never even checked to see if I had the problem, he said if there is a TSB we will do it.
