We finally got everything perfect on this project and they are ready to be sold! The fist gas cap we manufactured did not cleared the gas door hinge so we have to trim the design down to allow more spae for the hinge, everything is now perfect!

It's very easy to install in a minute on the existing gas cap of the car. We done it this way to keep the fuel system unchanged on the car.

We are launching those with a special at $10 off the regular price of ~~$49.95~~ so you'll pay $39.95 for this new and unique product, that can be added to the special we have on the engine bay cover and the billet trunk closeout covers. All those specials are good untill October 15 2009.

I ordered one last night because I also ordered the billet engine bay covers, so now it matches. But something just occurred to me, what do you do with the "safety tether" on the gas cap? Do you have to cut this off or can it "snap" off without damaging? I'd like to go back to stock at a later point if I wanted to.

The billet cap fits over your stock cap, shouldn't affect /effect the tether

Kinda sorta on topic, but I was flabbergasted to stop for gas in New Jersey once, and learn that it is against the law NOT to allow some strange person to pump your gas for you.

Sometimes i let my Dad use my car and he'll be 70 next year. Just want to make sure he doesnt forget what grade gas to put in. Also, if i ever sold the car i would want them to know as well. It's just a visual reminder so that nobody has a "blonde" moment.

Ok, to much temptation. I will take the polished Billet Gas Tank Cover - in Red with the Pontiac Symbol that you have pictured. I believe you list it on sale for $39.95. After getting back home from visiting with snaponbob and his wife Mary today, Carol ordered the Anodized Red Polished Billet Gas Tank Cover with the Pontiac Arrowhead emblem. It was only $59.95 plus shipping and completes our engine bay as we previously ordered the rest of the set on the 2nd group buy. With the recent addition of the Fuse Box cover by Beach Party the engine bay is complete!

Just a quick note, I received my billet gas cover yesterday. And as usual the quality of the product is excellent and fits well within the car gas hatch. The fit of how the stock cap fits into the new cap is simply amazing. The tolerances are closer than anything I've seen from other companies and it looks like it was original to the car, but better.

I'm happy.

DragonSolGXP, that is great news for sure. Ours has been shipped as well, can't wait to get it installed and our set will be complete! The Engine Bay looks awesome and now the more hidden gas tank area will complete the deal.
