Well what an extaordinary day it was!  I have always yearned to drive a Kappa tuned by Lyndon Wester.  Well, today, finally, I got to accomplish that wish.  You see, the stars were all aligned.  The sun was shining brightly, very little wind, perfect weather to take "Miss Red Eagle" out for adventure.  And what adventure it was.  You see, there is a new Moderator on this great forum that Joe appointed a short time back.  His name, as you all know is Bob, short for (snaponbob).  Well, the kudos start here!  He not only is a true ambassador for the Kappa Performance forum, but he is renowned for his ability to get under the hood, and haul ass.  By that, as a former Snapon Dealer and Rep he has been able to acquire skills of a certified Mechanic.  I know about that because one of my sons is a Mechanic (Tech) for Ford Motor Company.

Well, to get back on topic.  Bob replaced all of my standard issue hose connectors with the 6 T-bolt connectors from DDMWorks.  Also, he installed the Fuse Box Cover by Beach Party, that had been waiting in the wings.  It looks awesome and with the profile of the Red Solstice GXP shown in the same shade of red as the primary paint, Victory Red (Aggressive), that was the same exact color of my '95 Pontiac Firebird.

Well, now, after all the work was completed, time for some fun.  Bob drove my GXP and I got to drive his gorgeous Sky Red Line.  Well, it took my breath away!  Talk about hot, man it was a hoot!!!!!   I was amazed at it's power and strength. Awesome brute power in all gears and the sound was frenetic!  To be honest, took my breath right away.  That Roadster would probably kill me, it I owned it.  What fun.  I was thinking while driving it, "but what if I really did go ahead with my plan to get a "Wester's Tune".  Oh, no that would be silly, cause I have a Martin Tune.  Well, really I am happy with my tune, and it is a very good tune, but not a Tune from Lyndon Wester!  Really, it's all I can handle at my age, but you guys with the Lyndon Wester Tune have something special.

Well, those are some thoughts about our day at Bob and Mary's.  I hope you all get to meet Bob and his wife Mary in person some day, because they are special people!

Well Ron now you understand what everyone was yelling to you to get Wester, now you felt it on your skin. Being too powerful will not get you killed, only your brain and your foot get you killed.

As for snaponbob, I can't show enough my appreciation for all his non-stop help especially when is about suspension where he is an expert.

Let's not go THERE again. I am 100% sure that the major difference is the exhaust (catless and free flow exhaust). I actually enjoyed driving Ron's car as at 3 years and 12K miles his car feels SO show room fresh and tight, just with more power everywhere. Given the way he (and his lovely wife) uses his car, the power delivery of my car (NOT real subtle - just as I need for racing) would be a complete pain in the ass.
