Topic: G-Tech Pro SS - What are your configs? G-Tech Owners only please.

Hello,

I just bought a G-Tech and could not believe the stats I was pulling, so I would like to ask other G-Tech owners what values they are entering for the following and how they came to those calculations:

1.  Car Weight  (mine 3100lbs)
2.  Redline (mine 6600rpms)
3.  Pitch Factor  (0)

According to the G-Tech I am doing a 0-60 in 4.44secs and a 1/4 Mile 12.99secs.  I did a couple of runs and got consistent results.

My setup is as follows:
2007 GXP all stock except:  SOLO High Flow CAT, SOLO Street Race Exhaust, HP Tuners custom tune.  Automatic Transmission.

Don't you think my results are too flattering for my setup?  so this leads me to conclude something is wrong with my parameters.

What I tested G-Tech I input 1450kg (3200lbs) because some of the guys from this forum shared the information about how much they weighted the car in real conditions and with the driver.
If I'm not wrong G-Tech doesn't take in consideration the wheel spin.
In other idea, I did a simulation of a 402m run on a mustang dyno and I made 13.37 instead of 13.30 which I did in real condition at the track, I rated it very accurate, this is because the dyno can simulate many things.

Hi Kelu,
Thanks for the opinion.  Is your pitch factor 0 or 2?
Also what were your 0-60 times and 1/4 Mile times?
As for wheel spin, I think that The G-Tech is taking this into consideration, because if your wheels are spinning, you are not moving forward as fast.  The G-Tech is measuring forward movement rather than the speed of wheel rotation.

I didn't do my 1/4 mile time on G-Tech.
I just use it once so I can't tell you that, I even didn't know if I still have it because it was borrowed from a friend.
