Topic: Some gallery's strange things

1) Dimensions:
Max width 768 pixels
Max height 1024 pixels

Shouldn't be the other way around? Generally a picture is wide and not tall.

2) Restrictions for photos are less than those for attachments within a post. This doesn't encourage using the gallery. I wanted to post some nice pictures with my car but with those restrictions I prefer to upload pics in a post.

3) Albums/Folders, we can't create our own folders/album? I don't want to mess the gallery with my particular pics.

It is me or this are a little bit strange?

ok, I updated the default size and dimesions, the album folder options are only controlled by admins, there are no options for users to create catagories with the free Gallery app.    I'll look into other options.

I believe the default was set that way because you don't want the picture resizing the browser and forcing you to scroll sideways

Ya, but since then I've installed an app that allows you to view photos in threads and it controls the size.
