Hopefully I'll be bailing out my Kenny from his internment at the local jail dealer, with all his engine woes repaired/replaced...
Head Gasket, exhaust mani stud fixed, timing cover gasket replaced, new water pump, new belts, new NGK plugs...
Twas interesting to hear one of the NGK plugs was totally burnt off, no tip, no metal, gone. But, equally as odd, no CEL, no misses, no odd performance issues with only 3 good plugs.... :idk:

suspicious...
have them check the motor (compression test).
a plug failing can cause serious damage.

The ball started to roll, clutch and flywheel replaced, not bleeded because they removed the turbo already cause the bigger one arrived.

Tomorrow is about oil and water fitting and manifold-turbo spacer.
Saturday is planned for custom downpipe.
Hopefully next week will be ready.

Bought a set of Goodyear Eagle Authority for my Solstice...Not mounted yet...need to remove my snow tires.  The stock tires still have tread on them with 60,000 miles on them...maybe I should keep the two best just incase I need them.

I know that I'm going to powdercoat my new wheels in Gun Metal but today I was trying to decide if I'm going to do a gloss clear or a mat (semi-gloss) clear to finish them off.

I'm leaning towards the gloss.

I'll be glad when I get them back and can install them on the car.
Just trying to do my part...

Wouldn't the tonneau cover help keep you warm if you cranked the heat?

Same here except for the tonneau cover part! I thought that it felt refreshing. :)

First stage has to be finished until 28 April cause on 1st of May is first race.
Bummer that next weekend is Easter and I lost 2-4 working days because of it :(

Fine tuning and many small improvements are due on middle of June.

Do a search, the special is still good, local place - Silver Springs I believe.  Installation isn't bad, can be done in a day at the mod meet.

We are already doing a heated seat install at the mod meet.  So if anyone else want's them done, we could do them all in the same location and that would make it kind of factory like.
They are definitely worth every penny.

Heck, this is perfect opportunity for Critterman to perfect his supervisor and delegation skills.

Wouldn't the tonneau cover help keep you warm if you cranked the heat?

Everything was warm except for the right side of my head...The passenger side window can't be raised with the tonneau cover on.  If I could have raised the passenger side window I would have not been cold at all.  So I put on my Sostice cap from MECCA III and lifted my jacket collar....all good.
