You may want to hold onto them in case of an emergency.  Lets say you get a damaged rim or flat.  I just loaned a spare to Chuckdoc for such and emergency.

Got the Valance with it as well. I was going to have it installed but then I finally had the chance to make this event and saw the Solo was going to be there. No better way for me than to have them do the install; so I'll wait till then.

If I bring some CAO X2's and some Crown XR will you share it with me? I'll be celebrating my 40th.

I do all the Solo Installs at the meets.  Completed about 20 or so now.    I don't smoke, but ChuckDoc and Critterman will have one with you.

That's AWESOME Critter! Stick with it as your not out of the woods yet. Takes a long time to get over the craving. I know as I did the same as you years ago when I quit. It really is tough to do but in the end you'll feel better for it. My wife quit after I did although it took her a year to do it. Cold turkey for the both of us.

Once you have quit for a while you'll realize how bad smokers can smell. I had no idea how bad I must have smelled and it turns my stomach sometimes.

Joe, I may install a stereo in the car for the MMM7. Assuming that one that I want is available by then.

Congratulations again John.

Really, REALLY well done.  Good on yer!

Now the rest of us are apparently going to be plastered.  I'm gonna hate to see the results of this mod meet!

No problem, most of the work can be done in prep, it you send me the paperwork and the below

Onstar (GMOS LAN 03 or what ever you bought)
PAC SWI JACK Steering Wheel interface
radio harness
if you bought a backup camera, the cabling

I can doing allmost all the pre-wiring soldering.  Then there is only 3 (2 for the SWI JACK and one for the back up camera) connections to do in the car and install the radio/camera.  Should be minimum down time that way.

Thanks Joe, I will likely get everything shipped to your place anyway. As I said, availability of the head unit by that date may be the problem but I should find out more as the meet gets closer.

Saved my a&% big time!  I would sell three and keep one for a spare.  Put one of the old tires on it when you eventually change tires.  I know you could sell them for just such a use.  Joe really saved me big time.

I thought that you could only get them in all black or the red/blue combo.

For a little extra charge, he can order some extra fittings and mix the black with red.  That's what I am doing.

They are just AN hose end fittings.  They are available from various makers/vendors in red/blue, black, and a sort of nickel finish.  I think price varies a bit for the black and the nickel. How much hassle the DM guys want to go through in offering a variety is up to them.  I wouldn't blame them if they offered only the standard blue/red, which is what racers generally use.  They look cool and function great in any colors.  I think connectors, adapters, couplers and reducers come in solid red and blue colors, but I don't think hose ends do.
