I had a blast as well. Always nice hanging out with friends, and making new ones. (You'd never know it from his posts, but GJ seems to be a cool guy...though appearances can be deceiving...)

Kinda disappointed that I had to make an early exit and won't be able to hang out more tomorrow. At least all this overtime means more money for car parts!

Back home again  :'( man what great weekend!!! If you haven't been to this it is an incredible sight to see! So many things to see & learn, like how to apply graffiti on Crittermans car

Thank you Joe & Dee for hosting the meet & all your hard work to do so. The lasagna was spectacular!
Thank you Jeremy & Scott for putting Linda & I up for the night.
Thank you GJ for the wonderful clam chowda & not telling Critter about the piece I broke on his car  :idk: while installing sound deaden-er.
Thank you Critterman for allowing me to use your car as a learning aid so I don't make the same mistakes on mine when I install the same mods. Also thank you for the awesome test drive of a stage III supercharged Solstice   I'm just glad I was able to save the new fender I just installed on it from that crazy mailbox that ran out in front us!
Thank you Bob for the best back bacon (Canadian bacon) I ever ate!
Thanks Morfius for the GXP rear swaybar & Bobby for helping me put it on.
And thanks to all for a great time & great camaraderie! It was great to finally meet & put faces to the characters of the forum! I will be returning to the next one.

Had a gggrrrreaaatttt time!

Joe & Dee, once again it's hard to say thanks enough!  Y'all are the definition of hospitality.

Chuck was the glue that kept things running when Joe was under the the weather on SAT.  Thanks Chuck!

Scott, thanks so much for your knowledge and expert help with the heated seat install.  I'm gonna have to get me one-them-thar butane soldering irons.  Again, couldn't have done it without you!  The way you were jumping from car to car to "get the mod done" was awesome.

John(Critter), thanks for the advice and help too.

Steve, glad you and the others put that GJ to good use.  When is the 1st annual SCMM?

And that was great canadian bacon, eh?  Thanks Bob!  Jeff, love your new mesh grill.

Reed, hope your heated seats got finished OK today!  I'd tell you I tried mine out on the way home today, but that wouldn't be true.....well maybe we'll have few chilly mornings before summer to put them to use.

Again, thanks to everyone!!!!

Thanks to all!!! I'm back and the sound deadener is awesome!!  Quiet as my wife's Murano on the Beltway home and BB King and Eric Clapton sounded like they were sitting next to me!  Well worth the work.  Will have to try it with the top down and post.

Haven't had time to play with the ProBeam yet but it is definitely stiffer back there and the car is far more responsive.

It was a lot of fun, enjoyed meeting a lot of new folks and seeing some I already knew, and seeing lots of really cool stuff going in these cars!

Joe and Dee thanks for having us again, we had a great time despite the record setting heatwave. I also want to thank everyone that helped me with my exhaust, tune and charge tubes. Last but not least thank you Reed, Karen and Spag for the baby gifts, I am sure Paul Jr. will love once he decides he wants to come out and play. If there is one skill I seemed to learn this weekend it would have to be replacement of turbo heat sheilds. Thanks again for everyones help and for making my awesome ride just a little bit better.

What a great meet. Joe, I know that you were under the weather Saturday but you can be thankful that everything was in GREAT hands. Chuck really stepped up to the plate and handled things with surgical precision. Well done Chuck!

Dee was a gracious host as well and so was her and Joe's sons Tim and Joe. The fact that they open their house to, in some cases, complete strangers and treat them as a member of their family never ceases to amaze me. You will never know how much I look forward to seeing you all again.

What a great time! I installed a new head unit along with a Probeam at the meet. Although I had a lot of trouble getting the stereo fully operational because of a defective component, I had a lot of fun with Joe and I learned a lot about the car at the same time. Hopefully I can get everything sorted out in the next few days.

Meeting everyone over the weekend was AWESOME! I and my son Chris had a fantastic time. I won't mention everyone by name as I may well miss someone but it was REALLY great to meet each and every one of you. The community that I find myself a part of is one that I plan on being a part of for a long time. I met a lot of great people over the weekend and reconnected with others that I hadn't seen for some time. It was a blast.

Can't wait for the next one!

Damn I wish I could have gone to the meet this sounds like a mod my boss at work could do and my whole department would benefit from.

Rolled in about 20 minutes ago.  Thanks to everyone who helped me with my projects- especially deep, duck, sunnygator and macchiato!  I rode home with brilliant lights and a hot ass!

I've wanted to attend a SMMM for years, and I'm very happy the timing finally worked out.  It was all I'd heard or imagined and then some.  Dee and Joe, you're saints!  My brain would explode if I tried to pull something like that off.  Thanks for all that you did to host this- it couldn't have been easy!

I just got in myself. What an amazing weekend! I'm exhausted, but it was amazing.

Thank you Joe and Dee for opening your house to all us crazies and giving us the opportunity to get together and learn from each other. I have already started a list of what I would like done to my car at the next mod meet.

Thank you to all the insane people that made this drive worthwhile. What a wonderful, generous and idiotic bunch of people!

Big Sal & Lil Sal (Brian) - sorry we lost you at the tolls! Thanks for caravaning home with us.

P.S. Joe, I'm really glad you are feeling better and were able to take us on a run today. Dee - I hope you feel better soon!

It was a truly great time.  Each meet is better than the next.  I hope I was not too bossy.

This morning, everything hurts.  I fear by Tuesday, I will be where Joe was.

Yuch.

Chuck - great job stepping up and trying to fill Joe's shoes, hell we all know how hard it was for you to be able to climb into those big shoes, much less wear them.

What can I say Joe and Dee do a magnificent job as always.  Thanks for your hospitality and generosity, everything was fantastic.

To Kenny, Brian (little Sal) and Steve thanks for the help getting the High flow cat put on.  It only took 3 hours thanks to IBeDrinken stealing our sockets every 3 seconds!  Ohh yeah and Brian is the Best Designated driver ever!!!

ChuckDoc, you may be small in stature but you are huge where it counts.  Chuck stepped in like the General (Admiral may be better?) and told everyone where to go and how to get there in order to keep things moving right along.  We also made sure Joe's driveway looked the same way when we left as when we showed up.  Well done on the raffle and keeping everyone in line.

DDM Dave, Reed, Karen, Gentleman Jack, Jeff, Ashli, Thor, Bobby, Ca-nade-E-uh (Chris) and Brian, all I can say is WoW what a night out.  Much better than going to the Hotel to sleep as I originally intended. Drinks were drank, drinks were brought back up, insults were thrown, earmuffs were worn, swimming and little people in Wawa were involved and cup stacking was taken to new heights; and that's just the parts I can still remember.

To everyone else that was there you know what a blast it was and how nice it is to meet everyone in real life (that you know so well  on the forums)

To those that couldn't be there, you missed some killer Pemeal Bacon!!!  Ohh yeah and all the other fun.

JPM and DDM big thanks for your help and hard work!  You are the best and I hope you stay around for a while.  I still need to give both of you some more $$$.

IBDRINKIN, thanks for snagging all those sockets for me!  lol

Sounds like I missed a good time Saturday night.  Next year I'm in for the whole weekend.

It was great to finally make a SMMM.  Wish I could have spread myself around a little more.  I had a blast wrenching and re-wiring the cars I got my hands on.  Can't wait to do it again!
