Actually I was planning on a DIY install hopefully sooner than then but we'll see how it goes. I'll be including a Solo system to open up the back end so the whole thing can breathe properly but I have no way to lift the car for that.

The exhaust can be done on Jackstands.

Theres an idea, thanks.  :thumbs: I guess I'll have to invest in a low profile jack as well as stands. Also I think I saw a thread about where to jack the car. Any advise on which jack & stands to get?

I have a jack that I have had for years, has served me well and have no interest in getting another until this one quits.

It's not low profile, so I drive the front of the car up on a short piece of 2 by 8 to get the height that I need to get the jack under her.

Works good. Still waiting for it to die but I've had it for over 30 years so I don't expect it to go any time soon.  :thumbs:

My point is that if you have access to a jack and it isn't low profile, you can still lift the car.
Just trying to do my part...

Mods: Lose the chicklets, VentureShield, Dual horns, AfterShock spoiler, Weathershield cover, Lil Chromies, Red calipers with black Solstice stickers, Opel GT antenna and Solo GXP-RCD exhaust with a Solo hi-flow cat!

You know, I actually knew about that trick but haven't had to do that in such a long time I forgot about it. I've had pickup trucks for the past 15 years. I have some scrap short pieces of pressure treated 2X12's - even better. Thanks for jogging the noodle - I guess it's like they say if you don't use you lose it.
