Trouble with Idle
« on: January 12, 2010, 07:29:26 PM »
I swapped out my stock intake pipe with a flex pipe because I took out my resinator, i plugged the whole but I was still concerned about air leakage. I test drove it and everything it fine but I'm concerned about the idle rpm has gone up slightly. It only happens when I'm slowing down, if i take it out of gear and coast to a stop the idle on drops to 1500 rpm and stays there til I come to a complete stop, then it drops down to about 800 rpm which is normal. I also had to put a breather filter in nozzle where the small tube branches off from the stock intake pipe. Can anyone explain to me what is going on?

Do you have a picture of what the setup looks like now? That might help us point out what is going on.

Thanks,
Dave
