Topic: Kelu challenges Arabas to a drag race

OK, I had enough, this guy keeps saying he will show me his taillights forgetting I have smoked taillights  

To tell you the whole story, we met on BB forum and continued to email where Arabas asking me many questions about performance on our cars. I mailed him over 30 mails with details, proofs and personal opinion. After he joined KappaPerformance forum and became a good user representing Opel GT.

Now that this slow GTer after getting his Trifecta tune thinks he can beat all mighty racer Kelu:

Kelu has some trophies on international drag races, what Arabas has? He was beaten on street by a Citroen C2 ?

OK, facts:
I challenge Arabas and his Opel GT

Place and time:
King of Europe drag event which will be runing on 24-25 July 2010 in Bucharest.

I am a good racer with respect so I will offer:
To host Arabas at my house to lower his expenses (who makes 12h drives to make a drag race knows how it is), and spend all that weekend with him guiding and treating the opponent as friend outside of the race.

P.S. Even this sounds very serious and mean, it isn't. I'm full of joy and friendship and the main goal of this is to make new friends and meet them, compare our cars, help other kappa owners to get to a great drag race.

No way I'm taking the other side of that bet. Kelu has more racing experience behind him (from what I know) and I haven't seen any real results from Trifecta. They may be the best, but I say let's see them prove it. Come on Arabas, show up at King of Europe. Sounds like a good time for everyone and I would love to see video of this.

Mac: i realized that my tone is too serious and made an edit.   Meeting other kappa owners, making new friends and showing Romania to others is the main goal of this.

I know some drag results of Trifecta on a Kappa and to tell you the truth, is damn fast even the conditions can't be compared.

No more Drachma for some years in Greece
They are on Euro for some time and now they are blamed to be the hand-brake of Europe Union which I don't believe

The more experience driver will win most of the time.
Kelu loves to drag race so the pendulum should be on his side.
Do not know much about Arabas so if he is also a drag racer then it should be a very interesting match.
I am assuming both cars will have the same mods, and the tires would be similar.

it would be great to avtually meet you and hang out with you -even do you the favor of racing you  - BUT, on July 25th it's my girlfriend's b-day...sooooooo King of Europe is out of my schedule (OK, i can already read aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaall your pocking comments guys!!)

but, i promise to plan to come there and meet you, maybe you come to the track of Serres as you have promised and meet more Opel GT guys there!

FYI, me with Trifecta updated tune, Solo HF cat and Solo Mach shorty, drag raced against Kagem (he only had the BASIC Trifecta tune and no other mods) and Kagem was faster than me and even faster than EDS 325hp !!!! how about that????
his car responds perfectly to the tune, no other kappa owner would like to meet Kagem in a race...

Chuckdoc, NEVER talk politics with Greeks... we won't stop talking! it's a matter we seem to ba in love with.
actually some statistics have shown that people that have very powerfull cars on drag races, tend to love to talk about politics hahahhaha!!

it would be great to meet with Kelu and you guys from US and Canada and have some great days racing and exchanging opinions and comparing mods, but unfortunately distance and limited time from work are very restrictive..

We can't do drag racing at Serres circuit, I see it coming, you wanna grab me in a circuit racing because I'm not so experienced there and the power of the car can be deleted by a crazy driver like you  
Now you are saying you are weak? Even with an updated version from Vince you are still slower than Kagen, that's sound to me that your car needs a driver mod

Greeks were around here some time ago, especially from where I'm coming from (Black Sea seaside), but we are mainly Dacians combined with Romans which became Romanians about 2000 years ago.

Kelu, my money is on you to win the event over Arabas!  With all your experience you will show him your tailpipes for sure.  Man, I just got back from the gym after walking and jogging six miles and taking a short drive in Miss Red Eagle on the Interstate and find this thread.  It should be a whopping good time.  I wish that I could witness it in person and even drive with you guys but... Kansas is a long way.  I will offer Dorothy from the "Wizard of Oz" to give you some luck.  You see Kansas has a lot of wind, maybe she can ride behind you and provide an extra push!  All kidding aside, Carol and I wish you all the best in your adventure.
