I was reading up on the Chilean quake today and they have said that in fact the Earth HAS been thrown off it's axis ever so slightly as a result of the 8.8 quake. Days are a fractions shorter in the northern hemisphere and longer in the southern.

That MUST be what got to me the other night. I need to go realign my Chakra.
