Yep. Evidently, even when I was getting it to hit 15 lbs of boost it was still down on power, first time I got into it it felt way faster than it has in a while.

Well, hopefully whatever was messing with the bluetooth doesn't come back, hasn't since I got it back from the dealer anyway.

That Challenger was a doublekill, took him at a light, then murdered him on the twisties. Those R/T's are really nice cars, but it's sad to see a car with 270 hp running low 14's stock...

I suggest you drive it for a week or so before we put the tune back in, just to make sure there isn't any more issues.

What was the final straw that got them to replace everything? I am very curious as I have been battling similar situation. I checked my IC for balloning, but nothing that I can find... hmmm.

Every IC I have seen pictures of that ballooned, it was either the top row or bottom row and it is easy to tell. Looks like a snake that swallowed a dog

GJ, it's pretty obvious when it's ballooned. Top and bottom few air passageways swell up considerably, as Critter mentioned.

JimmyBaja, once I'm completely convinced there's no need to get this thing back to the dealer we'll come up with a plan to get your stock air box back to you.

I will check again. I look pretty close, but don't see it. what concerns me is the chance that the inlet / outlet of the IC may be where it's damaged and I can't see that.

So far so good. Oddly, I'm getting the best gas mileage I've ever seen out of this car, 26/27 around town instead of 23/24. Time will tell if that's just the ECM working it's way back to normal or if this may have been an issue since the car was built.

Kenny, no idea, don't have any sort of data readers-yet. After all this mess something to pull codes and read parameters is next on my list...

Ah ok, thought you might have dome some logging with Joe's HPTuners.

Since you have a few HPT units near you. I think a DashDaq is in your future.

I have the DashDaq also & I love it. If you get a CEL you can read it while you are still driving to make sure it's nothing major & then clear it when you stop somewhere.

the Aeroforce guages are cool, but i think the DashDaq gives you all those features, plus more features, and logging, for about the same price. but let's not pollute this thread anymore.
