Southern New England Kappa Roadsters is reorganizing as Kappa Roadster Owners Northeast US (KRONUS). We have decided to do this, 1) to broaden our appeal to Solstice and Sky owners in the rest of New England (NH, VT & ME) as well us upstate New York, and 2) to hopefully organize more, wider reaching cruises and runs in areas where none currently exist. In the spirit of "time for change," we are adopting KRONUS as our new name, a homonym of Chronos, in Greek mythology the personification of time.
While serving a specific region, membership in KRONUS is informal and open to anyone who owns, covets or even just appreciates the GM Kappa platform as represented by the Saturn Sky, the Pontiac Solstice and Solstice Coupe, and the Opel GT.
At this time there are no plans to remain under the GM Roadster umbrella. Initially we plan to operate independently, but look forward to shared events with neighboring Kappa groups and to ultimately aligning with a reconstituted national organization, if a credible one emerges.
In the meantime we will continue posting to the Kappa forums and look forward to seeing all of our Kappa friends this year and in to the future.
