If you mean the two little extra springs to help raise the decklid . . . . . . .

go with a pair of 5/8" X 2 1/2" and might want to paint them black before installation.

I DO NOT recommend doing this mod in the way it is displayed in the picture.
I had the part that was drilled break and it is a PITA to replace them.

You can do this mod WITHOUT drilling.
I wish I had known that prior to doing this.  I forget who posted how, but it's in the original thread.

Yeah, you just have to take some needle-nose pliers & open up one end of the spring a little first, then hook it around the torsion bar itself, on the far side of the hooked flat steel lever arm (as you see it in the picture above).

I have them installed liek the photo above for some time now and I've installed about 10 others.  Not sure how you had yours fail Elff but none of the ones I've done have.

I will admit, mine was user error.  But I was only slightly off from the drill point that is illustrated in the picture.
It is very easy to drill 1/8" off the mark and that is enough to have the steel arm break.

So why take the chance?

You can accomplish the exact same end result without drilling.
So all the benefits, with no chance of breakage.

That's a win win.

I have tried mounting the spring on the round lever that moves back when the trunk in closing and it just slips off...
elff can you post a picture or explanation as to the way you have yours set-up?

As I said above, you put on the "round lever" (the torsion bar) but on the OTHER side of the flat hook, between the flat metal part and the right angle in the torsion bar.  Then it can't slip off.  You just have to open the spring end up a little to be able to hook it over the bar.

Hopefully tomatosoups' explanation is good enough.  I don't have a picture and I don't have my sky right now.
it is in the body to repair the front bumper and do some blacking out of items I had wrapped in vinyl.
