Remember that a lot of people have their cars put away for the winter. Soon spring will be on the horizon and thoughts will turn to tightening up the front suspension on our cars. Then the orders will come.

caulairdis,
The problem is going to get 10 people to sign up for the next round.
Compound that with RED powder coating which has to be at least 5 or the price of the powder coating goes to high.
As of right now we ONLY have 4 and they are all Silver.
You will be the 5th with RED.
It may take a while but will see.

Just an FYI the WERKS requires professional installation because it does not fit without adjustments.

I have been waiting a long time to see if anyone would do A/B testing on any of these braces, which means taking a car without one out on some sort of timed course, whether it be a race track or a slalom course, and them installing the brace and repeating. That's the only objective way of telling whether the increase in torsional stiffness accomplishes anything useful in terms of performance.

Buyer reports of any product are notoriously unreliable. Most people will swear what a great product it was simply because they paid money for it and don't want to appear to be gullible idiots, even if the product turns out to be absolutely useless trash or a placebo (please note - not suggesting anything of the sort about this product).

I wanted numbers.  There are no numbers.

There are a few reports from people whose opinions I value. Bob, for instance, is in a position to be able to detect what effect this mod has and is sufficiently independently minded to say it does dick if that is indeed his conclusion.  He thinks it has a beneficial effect (Bob - get out there and give us times!).  Others have given a few well worded and considered reports.

In the absence of anything better to go on, I am prepared to resort to trying this myself.

Please put me down for one in silver, LV.

It will probably be a couple of months before it dries out enough up here to test it!

I have the DDM brace, bought it last year, and they had to modify it as it was being attacked by my supercharger during torque flex.  I have a new one sitting in the box waiting to go on.  Maybe this weekend since I just got the car out of hybernation yesterday.

But I have to tell you my driving will not be any indication of any improvement or lack there of.

I bought the LV brace and gave my honest opinion, short but honest....
Happy to see that your spreading your wealth in order to acquire this brace. You yourself as a individual can now come to a conclusion if you like it or not.

Bob already tested the DDM brace and made a full report on it.
I believe you have to go to the DDM thread to see his post.
I have numbers but coming from me they are useless.
Werks has also done extensive testing on the track with his, but again it is also his product.
Joe tested it last year on the 1/4 mile, prior to that his numbers were not quite as good as when he put it on, or at least I believe that is what he reported.
The member that I wanted to do a full report on it, never did or at least I did not see it.
He is from Texas and at the moment I can recall his forum name.

Yup, lap times before and after are the best way to tell.  Bob, do you have any times with and without any of these braces?

In any case I am going to stick on on the car and we'll see what we see.
