What did Santa bring you for your Kappa 2010?
« on: December 27, 2010, 10:09:10 AM »
OK, it's that time of year to announce what your Kappa received for 2010 Christmas.

My spouse got me....

2!!!! Fire extinguishers!!!! (one for the car one for the garage)
It was one of those moments where you're saying: Oh honey thank you, while at same time thinking  , what do you think I'm going to do burn the car and house down at some future point, but having the wisdom to keep your thoughts to yourself  ;)

Got the okay to get new charge tubes and the OCC from DDM. Have to order yet...  ;)

On top of that I'm getting a new set of wheels. I am looking for light wheels in the stock size or maybe a staggered set. No pictures yet.  :sorry:

Tirerack doesn't have much left in light wheels.
Just trying to do my part...

A ring, not for me, for her (not the kappa  ) and she said yes, damn I could get closer to a bigger turbo if she would said no and save the ring  :gaah:

For me, just some shirts which I was looking for some time.

Nothing for the GT    :gaah:  :banghead:

Congrats Kelu!!!  Now, have you planned ahead?  You know that your Opel GT Roadster is indeed a two seater!  Now, with the proposal, I would say that maybe children are on the horizon???  If so, indeed, you will need to purchase another Opel GT for your new bride to drive, which would give the family a much needed lift.  You know how much fun it would be to have two Kappa's sitting in your garage.  Also, your insurance rates would be less with a two car family rate, and you would be able to drive with one child in each passenger seat provided the child carrier is strapped in.

Also, Kelu and new wife, imagine the miles of smiles that would follow!!!  The bonus would be a parade!  Yes, two Kappa's back to back in motion would qualify as a parade, and with the proper music choice from the radio, you would even have music to celebrate the moment.  Oh, just the thought of it gets me excited.  It would be the first romance on the forum honored to have to Kappa's!

What do you think, Kelu?  Are you with me? Just think of the positives and the admiring looks you would get while caravaning!!!  The fun factor would be enormous and you would be the envy of all in your country.

I am so excited for you to have selected a life partner and new wife to share your life with.  Congrats, indeed!!!

I think so, this is how it is called, right?

Arabas: Thank you but I'm not Βλαχοι (not the girfriend) where those habits are usual about marriage. So no easy turbo kit for me

Ron: nice thoughts but no second Kappa yet, we didn't planned for marriage except the year (2012) nor kids, she owns the "family" car, a Dodge Caliber even my idea about family car is a G6/G8/Monaro/CTS-V (all V8 of course). If I will afford a second Kappa in future that will be a Corvette, sorry guys I know this might be disappointing for you but around here they are so rare and indeed owned by geargeads who gave up on a Porsche to have a Vette which deserves to own one if you can afford it.

Congrats Kelu!!!

Im getting a Pioneer AVIC-Z120BT installed with rear camera, XM radio, and maintaining all chimes and steering controls.  It was a gift from myself to myself LOL.  It's going in tomorrow for the install.  I got a sick price on the AVIC-Z120BT (I paid $899...retails most places for $1299+).
