The base Pontiac Solstice is an extremely effeminate looking car. With the GXP GM tried to toughen up the look and performance but only an enthusiasts would notice or care. The coupe ... looks like a clown shoe on wheels. I was in the market for a toy, had to be GM (retire voucher) and I wanted a drop top. Corvette ... great car, too much money. G6 folding hardtop ... front wheel drive "ladies car". Having said that I have seen one slammed and modded and it looked great! So for the money I ordered a base 09 loaded. I love it!!! Little kids wave and saw nice things all the time (very embarrassing). It has been an adventure modding this car and I would recommend this vehicle to anyone who enjoys open air driving. My Harley only got used 3000 K last summer. I get a kick out of my car and reading the forums but it's like the man said, opinions are like elbows (I thought it was a$$_oles), we all got one.... Enjoy the journey!!!

Shoulda bought a Sky, CT. HAha! J/k. I get just as much crap from my guys at work and sometimes from random people. I always tell them that their wives or daughters don't mind riding. Booya! They don't like that very much. Anyhow, to each their own. I don't need a big old pick up truck with nuts hanging from the hitch to reassure myself that I've got a pair.
