What about something like this:
(Attachment Link)
There's a company that makes one for our cars that's a single pod. I've heard that they are not good to deal with but I haven't tried it myself.

http://www.gmaddiction.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=tpflypage.tpl&product_id=83&category_id=3&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=53

If that doesn't work, use one of the AC vents like I did. You won't miss one of them :)

Josh: your case is applicable only for Sol!!! Sky/GT doesn't have that rounded AC vent
Btw: I couldn't resist  :ttiwwp:

Yeah, I heard gmaddiction.com is not so reliable vendor, so take care. I think I will make some custom pods locally, I will ask the guy who made me the rear lip.
But except boost, I'm not so desperate to monitor other things, dunno what else to monitor especially now when I will upgrade the turbo.

Kelu an oil pressure gauge would be nice, instead of some idiot light that comes on after you have wasted your engine.

Yeah, oil pressure/temp was in my mind too, other thing which I consider worth to monitor is Knock Retard (gas around here is tricky) but that comes only from ECU and those gauges like Aeroforce/PLX are damn expensive.

snaponbob: Maybe because they don't offer a tach. Or, so it seems.

Sorry, I thought you were referring to the PLX gauges, which can be programmed to display any parameter available to the OBDII port.

Maybe:

•Black Universal Dual Dash Pod
•Width: 7" Depth: 4.5" Height: 3"
•Holds two 52mm or 2 1/16th inch gauges

Might be too deep!

PLX gauges require a control box for each input.  Not sure a tach is offered.

I take that back they do now have a custom multi gauge that reads your odbII port which has a tack, It probably also allows you to set a rev limit where it will start flashing, just under $400

Kelu, I really llike the looks of that steering column double gauge pod.
It looks like it would'nt block the speedo, tach or DIC too much.

I just mounted three gauges, 2 in the DDM column and one on top of the dash board next to the DDM column. I ran the wires thru the mini speaker hole in the column for the dash mounted gauge.  Looks great

Excellent! I am looking forward to finding a pod that I can mount a boot/vacuum gauge and a temp gauge to.

Thanks,

Hahaha....sorry that last pic made me laugh...i wasn't expecting a HUGE plug......

So, I like what you have going on now with the gauge pod......what's the next step?  Not sure what to do, or just need to get it done.....looks to me like you're on the right path.
Plastic weld to secure the plastic to plastic, then duraglass, then filler then paint and you'll be good.

What are you going to do about the warning 'section' that the gauge is blocking? Possibly cut out a hole that you can look through to view them still??? Looks like your gauge will clear it.

If you have a smart phone, you can get a Bluetooth ODBII sensor plug for it

Trax Customs

If we can't do it, you don't need it
