It looks absolutely amazing Norm. As soon as you have them available I'll take one with functional CAI and painted midnight blue. Please hurry, I want this for sunny season! =)

Edit: It looks AMAZING as is, please don't change a thing. Or keep that mold so I can have one that looks like that  :urock:

Hello and thankyou for the super comments. Ive refined the pattern and Im ready to mold as just finished waxing in preparation. You may notice that since the last pictures the vents have become deeper and have a nicer curve to them, hope you like them. The vent openings will of course be cut out after the part is made with screens. Will be ready soon to take prelimanary orders. Thanks again Norm

I'll take it! Haha Norm every time you astound me with your designs. How hard will this hood be to put on for someone with minimal body work experience? (As in, should I send it to the body shop to get put on or can I have a couple friends help with the lifting and it will be plug and play like your read diffuser was?)

Hello and thankyou, yes thats what we strive for, plus since it will weigh less than half of stock you wont have to lift too much,LOL.

Hi Norm,  with the deeper vents..........does this make the hood lower to the engine compared to the stock hood?

or basically the same depth?

thanks!

Hello, thought about that already for clearance. No lower than the stock inner sound liner by the vents with above the engine there is more room. Thanks Norm

emailed sent Norm!

I'm glad that the vents maintain the height of a stock hood.   I really can't afford to have a hood/vents that will go lower.  I need every cubic inch inside my engine bay for my build.

Thanks!

Hello and thankyou again, Im reluctant to take any deposits right now though like anyone struggleing in this business climate I could use it, LOL.
I just want to have a better idea of the completion date before I commit though it will be soon enough as the hard work is done. As far as painting yes we can paint and I just charge what it costs us to do so, for example on a Hood in black you have to paint both sides and buff the whole hood and its a big hood as you all know, it would cost $550.00. In a color such as Red add 150.00 and same with Yellow as we base coat the yellow with white first. It really depends on the materials as Red in Chromabase is about $150.00 a Qt and it usually takes almost two Qts for me to get full coverage and of course you got clear which is insane too then to color sanding and buffing. Whew, maybe I should raise my prices everything else is going up. Thanks again Norm

Subscribing - I'm interested too.  I've had 2 parties paint parts in Hydro Blue and they've come out excellent - hopefully this would too.
Your highly detailed mods signature, while impressive, really really screws up Google & site searches.
