Redline headlights

Is GetSaturnParts.Com the only place where I can get them? I would really like them but the site doesn't show the pictures so I don't want to buy them and have them not be black.

You can do them yourself, or buy them from Saturn or Crate depot.  I believe Joe has a DYI on this site on how to do them.

I did a search and nothing came up, but I think its probably the baking way I don't trust myself that much haha. I will have to check crate depot.

I think you can also use a heat gun to soften the adhesive around the globe. Will be easier to work a small area at a time . then reverse when you put back together. I've seen Joe do it  ,Just takes time

An oven and a can of flat spray paint is all you need. I used RTV to reseal the lights. It takes most of an hour to do each with a pair of gloves as the fixtures get hot.

I have heard all the horror stories about melting/burning plastic by heating either with an oven or a heat gun.  When I had to open up a set of tail lights on a previous car, I thought I'd try really hot water.  I figured the water could only be a max temperature of about 99* C, and likely less by the time it actually gets to the lights.

I basically put one light into a kitchen sink, and poured hot water straight out of a large pot over it, and let it sit in the water water for a few minutes.

Worked amazingly, the adhesive was nice and soft, and it came apart great.  Recommended it to a few friends that had to open up head lights or tail lights, and they've all liked the results.

Just a tip, take it for what it's worth.

Yes - ebay still has a lot of things flowing.  I picked up a set of headlights and tail lights from somebody who had bought Clearwater Saturn stuff at auction, for $280 and she recently had another set for sale.  Turned out they were brand new in the OEM boxes.

Click on the Shop accessories link on the right.  You are correct, either an oven or a heat gun, Joe and I did mine and used a heat gun.
