About the extra charge for the COLOR anodizing:

- Sorry if we did not post this at first but yeah, the color anodizing is $40 extra. We have modified the threads yesterday morning and added it. At ALL TIME our website was showing the fee to get it done that way. It was not my intention to mislead anyone in doing this, I admit that we should have put all possible options and pricing in the post at first.

- All caps are hand polished, even those that are anodized to have a PERFECT finish. ALL other parts manufacturer will not polish prior to anodizing giving a dull finish at the end. Our finish is a lot brigther and shinier. This is how we do things, you'll get nothing but the highest quality products.

- The anodizing we do here is not mass production. We do our anodizing in house to control every aspect of it. it is true that when anodizing is done in mass in the price is pretty low but this is not the case here since we anodize the caps each set at a time.

We did not want to hide anything at any moment and we always do our best to serve our customer the best possible. You can ask to any of our customers about it. We are well know in the Chevy Cobalt world and you can do any seach about us there, we have nothing to hide.

We produce only but the highest quality part you can find and this is the only way we do things. There is already too mutch cheap stuff around and we will never be part of it!!

If you have any questions or suggestions, just get in touch with me, Mathieu Roy, I'm the owner and founder of MRZ performance.

Thank you again for your support.  ;)

How long does it take to manufacture and ship?

We have some sets in stock but only a few ready to ship. We will ship the rest as we complete them in the order the order have been placed. The first orders (1-10) palced should get out this week and early next week.

Thanks again!

Ya but the guy that makes the parts for the GTO is very hard to reach.  The business he is working with out of Florida won't talk to anyone else except him, their loss.    I tried to get something together for the Solstice community. He is just a middle man that is tacking on another charge to the price because you have to pay the middle man!!!

The stuff that the NYC group has is a painted cap, not anodized and they pay more...  They look great also.  I've seen them in person.  But they are covers that go over your existing caps and that makes it difficult to remove the oil cap.  You can see for yourself what they look like on nakidparts dot com

Once the group buy is over, they're pricing will be comparable to the NYC company.  We are getting a great deal on this...

I was not speaking of the custom one's on Pat's car but actually a nicer one that I found. This may be a great deal for some but not me. I tend to prefer functional mods, I have spent a little on 'bling" but very little, spent nothing on "bling" I can't see from the drivers seat, mostly performance upgrades for me. $210 is a third of the way to a GMPP tune and that rates a lot higher on my priority list. You guys enjoy what I am sure will be a really great product.

Finished calculating my taxes this afternoon. Any "discretionary spending" is put on hold until after April 1. :(

You know what would really be neat is if you also offered a matching gas cap with a special discount for those of us who were part of the group but...   ;)

Not a bad idea, we'll check what can be done about it if we can get our hands on one ;)

I just joined the group buy, but I am confused about shipping.  A whole bunch of the same club members doing the same order is or is not an "over $250" order with free shipping?  I was charged for shipping.

There is a shipping charge, but it should be 169 or so plus 14-15 for shipping and 40 for color,

Did you use the link in the thread?

I received free shipping because Dark Tech and I live at the same place so I purchased both sets.

I ordered the Blue set and Red for Darktech.  mine came out to around $210.00, yours would be about 225.  Perhaps you and LilGoat can order them together and get free shipping.
