I do not know if anyone ever posted any of these, but I found them interesting. I took them at the GM Nationals this weekend. They only mentioned current cars the motor is used in.

Thanks Jim for the AWESOME thread. I just added this thread to my list of "Bookmarks"! Quite an honor indeed because with this one which makes the 7th I am particular with what is chosen. Unbelievable photo's for sure. I have not seen a better post of this nature on the forum that details exactly the engine in 3 D quality. Many thanks for the post, indeed!!!

Very nice pics. Crate Engine Depot gave me a free t-shirt with a really nice Ecotec color graphic on it http://www.crateenginedepot.com/store/Ecotec-Tee-Shirt-PN-Ecotecshirt-P2441C75.aspx when I purchased my GMPP upgrade kit, but having a photo of it would be really cool too.

Yes, I have that shirt too and have downloaded those diagrams sometime back. I did not realize from the subject line that this was more than those diagrams. These are beautiful!!! Plus one on having this engine in my living room! Thanks for posting!

Which error? That they left off mention of the Kappa platform installations, or that they mentioned longitudinal install on all front wheel drive cars?

The first, I suspect, was intentional since they no longer make the Kappa, the second a true mistake since the Kappas are not mentioned.

The torque for the HHR SS is wrong when converted to metric.

The first HHR torque is the same as the second HHR torque (ft/lb) wvwn though the metric (Nm) is different!

I wish my timing gears were all chrome and shiny....

Is possible that one is a 5 speed and the other is the Automatic.
