Topic: Cold Air Intake (CAI) Problems

Nothing yet...there are 2 cars currently testing the MACH 2 setups.  So far, everything has looked really great!

Anyone have the RPI CAI and how much?
Should I wait for the DDM works CAI?

While the RPI box is infact a true CAI, it ain't pretty and it is expensive. It is basically 2 hoses run from the stock airbox down below the car to pull in cooler air. I like the DDM much better, I hope it comes in pink.

Just got this email from RPI

There is no true cold air intake for the car.  The only thing we do is
modify the stock intake to draw air from outside the engine bay.  If you
send us the shroud ramp and lower air box, we charge $150 to modify it.

DDM Works CAI system is called the Mach II.

The MachII system is a true CAI and the only pressurized CAI...  The reason RPI doesn't know about it is that the product is in the final testing phase.  Jrsno1fan and DuckSol have the first two with Spiky3480 getting the first production run unit.

The Mach II will include:

• Intercooler Pipes
• Intake Filter, Pipe and Air box.
• Intercooler and air directing shroud.
• Tune

Pricing is yet to be announced (common DDM, isn't it about time)
