As long as it's not a windy day.  If it is, go close it.  A moderate gust blowing from forward to aft can mess up the hinge.

It's sunny, 77 and a slight breeze. A perfect day so hopefully it'll be dried out by lunch time.

As Critter said, definitely use a vac to get that water and dampness out...it WILL smell like crap if you let it sit...the odor in mine has just started to go away...the sound proofing I have in my trunk is water resistant, so it took forever for the water that got under the carpet to go away LOL.

i picked up an ABS plastic grill the other day from a body shop. the id of the car it was originally on is totally unknown.
after some cutting i ended up with this result.
i never liked the stainless steel mesh grill, only the ABS plastic ones. plus i wanted to make it a bit thickier and give it a bigger inclination from the hood to the bumber. IMHO it looks better this way.
i know the resul,t is amateurish, but it does the job for me untill i found someone to fabricate for me a perfect grill at reasonable cost

All I know is we need to find out what vehicle that grill came from. I've wanted to try something like that since I bought the car but haven't found anything that works. Expanded metal doesn't have the depth that the plastic grills have. Arabas, that looks great!

thx guys! as i said, this is amateurish job.... some zip ties are holding it into place.
this is a call to our vendors, maybe someone (i.e. DDM, Norm) could fabricate a mesh grill from honeycomb abs plastic with nice finish for the Sky and GT. i would love to send them some more pictures and help as much as i can to make this happen

some examples

PS U-238, Kelu is tall and bald, i am short and have hair. pls don't confuse me with that Romaniac

You told us that why?  We're all thinking this looks fantastic and you go and tell us it's zip tied together.

I retract my previous comment.  It looks like a bunch of amateur crap.  I don't like it anymore.   :poke:  :kwh:  :kwh:

I secretly really like it.  Almost makes me want to buy a sky right now so I can do this!

This is really going to bug me till we figure out what vehicle that's from though. Were those three "braces" in the grill from the start or did you add them?

Professionals use duct tape.

Ok, I've zip tied my license plate on just to appease the local ociffers.  I carry zip ties in my car behind my seat.  They are even in multiple colors just in case!

Man...that's the last time I give anyone crap around here!  I really like it!  And I got no problem with zip ties actually.  Whatever works!

Tough crowd.

This is my three day What Did You Do:
Cleaned all the wiring up from light modifications to look like factory wiring tuesday.
Washed/waxed the car yesterday.
And just finished my 7443 LED conversion on the front tonight. Could I have just done the easy mod to the side bulbs? Yes, but that was too easy. Main reason is I like the look of bright/dim turn signals and not on/off turn signals at night so I hogged out the 194 spot and jammed an 7443 into the sidemarker spot.
