I installed a series 34 Battery. I bought new for my Legacy GT last year, but was to big when I installed a FMIC this year. The cold pipe rested on the battery & I couldn't close the hood.

#34 batt. is around 1\2" longer then OEM batt. A little modification of the batt. tray & 5\16" hose. It was done. This Die Hard Gold 795CCA

Straight out the side tabs.

Install rubber hoses

BUMP : Need help or Advice

Tried to get my ECM out and with vertical door hardware , I couldn't get the right side out of the lock to release the plug .started getting dark and had to put back together . lock is to close to hinge arm to raise. ANY body with V/D know how to do this without breaking something

Put all 4 tires in the air & rotated them & give it a good look over.

I just had (4) Cooper Zeon RS3-A 245/45 R18 put on my Solstice . They did the 4 wheel computerized Alignment . Tech said the tracking was close all the way around. The Tires are all-season performance . We'll see what they are like when it rains hard.

I added the 19" staggered Gravana's with Conti DWS's 275-35-19 & 245-40-19's. Dang they look good!!!

I've had cooper tires on other cars and they do work good in the rain. They make some decent tires. I think they are underrated just because they don't have a big name.

Kenny ; They listed for 214.99 . I went to Pep Boys and Got the rebate , buy 4 & send Sales slip in & Get rebate back . Just got a rebate back for the tires on my Jeep.

Cooper Tires were always listed in the Sterrt Rod & resto car Mags .Thats how they started getting Popular . But you are right They are under rated just because They don't have a big name.

Received Norms front splitter this weekend, very nice piece. Mocked up the GXP fascia in the TV room along with ASAP graphics honeycomb turn signals bezels and Aftershocks recessed grills to get an idea of what it will look like painted & installed on the NA.

Definitely will be adding vinyl pinstripping to the bottom edge of the splitter to enhance the lowness. I was thinking painted pinstripping but that would probably chip. The car's black so leaning toward orange and white vinyl pinstripping for a classic Harley color scheme.

I had Dejon make me a new Cold IC and Intake to relocate the MAF.
My Sky just did not like having it on the Intake with the External BOV.
This seems to have smoothed out the MAF readings.

Not today, but this week (Tuesday and wed), I installed LVs Front chassis brace and my oil catch can

ran into some issues with the OCC (stupid air intake nipple thing was broken, and not by me), but got her done

Got a quick question. The heat reflective tape that came with the OCC didn't seem to want to stick very well. Is this normal? Should I get some more and wrap them really well near the turbo?

Looks great! MUCH better on a Kappa that is lowered! I love Norm's F430 front end, it makes the Solstice have more of a 'Sky' look...

Tonight I removed the aero Force gauges , Not hard but a little cramped getting the wires free to remove.

i thought that the MAF should be located on a specific place and distance right after the intake filter.... No?

Believe me James, that car is lowered, no way 19" wheels is going to hide the large gap on the rear wheel as this car shows if it was stock....

With increased Turbo, Intercooler and pipes, you get better more consistent readings when it is located on the Cold IC pipe.
There is a discussion on the Sol Forum that has a good explanation.
I was getting very inconsistent readings even with the GM Intake. The logs looked like a saw blade

I pressure tested my system today. Found that the O-Ring for the BOV [Where it mounts to the flange] was not seated properly and was leaking.
