With the sanctions they may not be allowed to transfer the money back because of how they have shut down the banking system. There is a lot of global legal red tape that makes this kind of thing hard to sort out.

The articles I have read on F1 app does not agree with the post by Sol Asylum. Hopefully more details will come out on this next week when we watch the practice and race.

I'm sitting here watching Q3. Big changes in the car means big changes in the field if practice can be judged as an example.

I just watched Qualifying.

That's an interesting top 10.

These cars just look kind of odd to me, and damn they are bouncy. I have a feeling some tracks are going to be very difficult to drive based on what we just saw. I also wonder what type of additional strain that is going to put on the drivers. Did you see how much their heads were moving around?

Dammit, Im hooked. Guess I will be watching this season

3 Dead Red Bull Engines [Gasley was the first one]
Ferrari 1-2 Finish
Haas #5
Alfa Romeo #6 and #10 [Double Points]
Haas 3rd in the Constructors

Definitely one of the best F1 races of all time.

That was fun. The pass repass three laps in a row was amazing. LeClerc really showed poise and patience during those laps. The joy on Team Ferrari was great to see. I hope it?s a good three way race for constructors this season.
Super Happy for HAAS. Got to be tough with no big sponsor, but a couple more finishes in the top 10 will go a long way. I?d guess some crypto exchange or similar will jump at the chance for a 1 or 2 year deal if it looks like they will get some airtime.

Not sure I love the look of the new cars
Alfa has the best livery
Young gun (LeClerc) vs mid age (Vers) vs old guy (Ham) is going to be fun to watch
I have little doubt Merc will sort their shit out in the next couple races- but damn did they get lucky with RB falling on the last fricken lap, and I do feel bad for both RB drivers. They actually both drove quite well and got nothing for it. I struggle a bit with Vers whining, but that?s just the way he is. He can definitely drive.

NEWS FLASH:

Oil refinery 12 miles from the track attacked during FP1. No on air mention till the beginning of FP2 where there is a 15 minute delay while the teams are briefed on what is going on. We don't get the brief.

I did not hear about the Oil refinery attack. Any more information on that?

That was another great race. Some solid passing again and I am really liking how people can follow closely without killing their tires. That's something this sport needed for years.

Bad luck for Perez with the Yellow flag, but those can always jumble a race result. He still had a solid race and finished 4th and those final couple of laps, holy crap!!

I am curious about what happened to Bottas as him and Alonso were crushing it before their cars died.

Magnussen had another good finish.

So far, the season is delivering. WOOT.

Basically the same thing happened to Ham during the second safety car. His team didn't call him in to the pits in time and pit lane was then closed. Cost him 6 spots when he finally pitted. He got 4 or 5 back and ended up 10th.

I think it is going to be a great season
