Went from 12º to 14º and now the car backfires like a Wankel, is that normal? I am just reving to 6500rpm where the cut off is and PAM!

Is it backfiring BEFORE the red line? Otherwise, it's doing what it's supposed to do at red line.

Normal. On the stock tune the engine starts barking at redline and then just loses boost. With a tune it seems to just bark due to lean misfire of spark interrupt. May your change in spark advance it is more apparent.
