New GM Sky concept announced!

Taking over IBBoozin's role here for a moment...

OK, OK, it's a Cadillac, and it's called the "Ciel", but that's French for Sky!

I agree with tazz on this one. Whats up with the bucket seats in the back? There is no room for... Well, if your going to have a 69 Cadillac give it some bench seating in the rear for room to work.

At the end of the spot where they were looking lovingly out towards the car at night, I was hoping it started to roll away down the mountain never to be seen again.

Yeah and the Aztec made it into production and we know how that worked out.

I can't wait for GM and the other manufacturers to remember that they can use curved sheetmetal and stop with all the flat faceted body panels.  The stealth fighter is an impressive plane in it's own way but it's ugly for a reason, those faceted surfaces are what makes it stealth.

:barf: what the hell, that thing has to weigh over 2 tons.

Question:

Look at the video at 28 second for about 10 seconds or so and you'll see the back seat blond girl in the middle.  Then around 105 seconds you see the huge center console that runs down the whole middle of the car.  Was she riding the hump or was this whole video a concept CGI also.

I would imagine that the door setup wouldn't pass the side impact tests...

I like that.  The massively sculpted slab sides, angular lines, massive hood, generous distance between the front wheel and the front door, the suicide doors, the nearly-frameless windshield, the chrome curve on the sides.  Mmm mmm delicious.

The nearly-flat slab sides and the angular creases and corners remind me of my CTS-V.

Well, I will state that with the lines it has it beats the lines of our 2000 BiCentenniel 5.4 Liter Laser Red Lincoln Navigator that we still own and I am sure the MSRP was probably more than the list our's was at $49,940.00!  Can't really complain cause "Big Bertha" is still in great shape and still trucken at 12 years of age!  Not many own vehicles that go 12 years and more! :usa:
