Not quite the works, but almost. Welcome, Brad! I'm an ex-Navy F-14 electrician. I miss it, but not the BS politics. Come up to DDM's Open house and learn some fun things about our cars and just have a good time.

Good guess, I'm in the Navy.  Currently a flight instructor at NAS Pensacola.

I used to live about 30 miles east of you in Crestview. Went to P-cola all the time to visit my sister and parents.

White is easier to keep clean than the dark colors.

Yeah, we've got a lot of service members, vets and civil servants here on the forum, and it just sounded typical of the government IT systems.

I myself am Army civil service.

It sounds like you'll fit right in here.

Once again, congrats on the car and good luck!

Helios,

I flew EA-6B's back in the fleet, so I definately appreciate the Grumman Ironworks, and real troubleshooting that doesn't involve plugging a diagnostic computer into your airplane!  October is pretty busy for me so I don't think I'll be able to take a road trip up to SC.  I've penciled in my calendar for next October though.

Exterior color was secondary in my search.  Honestly all I cared about was drivetrain:  LNF connected to a manual.  A stock color was my only requirement.  Now that it's parked at my house and I've had a month to study it up close, I have to say that in a line up of all the stock colors I would probably pick the white again, so don't hate :-).  I do think the tan top looks better on the white, but not with my black interior.

I don't like the tan top at all. I'm swapping mine out to black.
