New to the forum with an '08 Redline

Just wanted to say hello to everyone.  I just joined the forum, and I got my Sky last month.  2008 Redline, Manual, Polar White, Black Leather, Monsoon with single disc, and ~26K miles.

I did a little drooling over the Solstice when I first saw it, but when I saw the lines on the Sky I was in love.  Took me about a year to find a low mileage Redline with a manual, and I still look at it in the garage and can't believe it's mine :-).

Whether you mod, or keep it stock, you will love that little car. I rolled over 84,000 miles on my 08 a couple days ago with no end in sight. Its an awesomely reliable car as long as you keep up with it! And just in case you want to do "a couple mods" ...

One tip:

Take a video of you garage door opening and revealing your beautiful car.  Take the video to work and put it on your computer as your screensaver.  Every time you step away from your computer you can watch your garage door go up and reveal your new baby!  All day satisfaction with afternoon relief!

Thank you all for the warm welcomes.  I did find the other forum first.  Apparently google likes it better.  I found this one through an Adroid Forum App on which the "other" forum is not available. 

Gentleman Jack, I don't do too much "Kool-aid" drinking ;-), besides it seems like there is a fair bit of cross membership.  You can rest easy as I won't forsake one for the other.  As long as there is active membership I'll be around.

I don't think I'm going to do too much performance modding at least until my powertrain warranty is up.  I'm not entirely convinced on the GMPP ECM tune.  Both on the price since it's a dealer only thing, and some of the difficulties I've heard about getting it done at a Chevy dealer and over paying on the labor side since the techs aren't always familiar with our cars (which is bs).

I think first on the list is the side marker -> turn signal mod, then maybe some lighted storage, big one I'm saving up for is the Bluetooth Onstar replacement.  I think even on the interior side I won't do much.  I've always been a big proponent of keeping cars mostly stock, especially on something like these cars that have some collectible value.

Again, thank you so much for the warm welcome, and I'd be interested in thoughts/opinions on mods and other general guidance.  In the mean time you probably won't hear much out of me for a while since I'll be perusing the thoughts of those who've posted before ;-).

I love this idea, unfortunately I can't change the screen-saver on my work computer.  Our computer/network policies are strange.  I can go to these types of websites, webmail, youtube, ebay, etc, but god forbid I plug a thumbdrive, mp3 player, or change my screensaver.  I may have to settle for a desktop pic, which strangely enough is allowed...
