This looks great, I hope to see you graphs when they are up. From what it looks like you are building this to increase the throttle response and low end pick up on the LE5, yeah? Those short runners and the tapered plenum would suggest so. What is the intake runner length? (if you dont mind me asking) I was looking into rigging a set of ITB's up, and knowing what the runner length on yours are would help with placement of velocity stacks.

The engine performance test, I must postpone by one week (2.0)

interim report

* Today was adapted to the intercooler piping (throttle)
* Intake was first painted (in series it is powder coated)
* Tomorrow will be conducted the first tests
* On Friday we are likely to invoke the Dyno

I am a bit confused. (Nothing new THERE, is there?!?!) Let's see;

1) On an LNF, does this use the OEM throttle body?
2) Does this work with OEM I/C pipes and I/C?
3) Will this work with the OEM air intake to the turbo inlet?
4) Looking at this - U.S. $ 699.00 for the 2.0 liter including postage (U.S.) with adjusted pressure piping - what is meant by "adjusted pressure piping"?
5) Would it be fair to assume that a re-tune would be required?

That's it for now. I'll wait for the answers.

1. First, the throttle body is used by 2.0 (LNF).
optional: LE5 or BBK Performance Throttle Body (80mm)

3. for the test, we use this intake (optional)

2 and 4. This pressure pipe is changed and is included.

5. a re-tune is recommended

Looking good!!!

I see you removed the hinges for the hood to work on the car. Do you have any issues aligning the hood?
We normally just remove the 4 nuts off the hood itself and leave the hinges installed in the car. Never have an alignment issue when reinstalling.

Simply mark the mounting points and thus spare themselves the adjustment works.
