Hey guys, Just picked up a 07 Kappa a few weeks ago

It's my DD.

Not my first turbo ecotec. As you can see from the sig...

Looking forward to talking Kappas...

Yeah the joke is if some other forum member can post that emoticon before Kelu does. Don't worry he's the slowest Romanian drag racer we know, in fact he's the only one we know so I try and remind him how slow he is just for fun.

Yep they are BFG KDW2.

The GXP wont see much track use.
But the other turbo ecotec, that's the track car.

Hoping to hit 11's this year.

Forged pistons, with darton sleeved block

Head studs

Main studs

and a bunch of other goodies.

Only mods for that time where: GMPP tune!!!, cat-back and tires (it's not me, we don't have strips around here)
With so many mods on that Cav and only 12.4 you call Kappa slow?

12.9? I haven't seen those times from others with just the gmpp tune... I have a hard time believing that just a another 50 HP could shave off that kinda time. Aren't these cars only low 14s stock?

Bone stock: 13.9-14.5
GMPP/aftermarket tune and exhaust: 13.0-13.5s

12.9s is not well so documented because the driver is not using forums but I can guarantee you is real, DBG the owner of this forum can vouch for him, I met the guy while I was in US and saw his garage. His daily driver is Kappa too

his strip car is a blue Cobalt, full interior, stockish 11.4s IIRC

13.0 to 13.5 is a ways off from 12.4.

It takes quite a bit to make up that .6 sec

I'm also front drive and dont have the LNF computer that is easy to tune compared to the old J body L61 Ecu...
