Removing an ECM?

What is the simplist way to remove the ECM?  I am taking the plunge w/Westers and need to get them the car's "brain".  Anyone got pics of the process or suggestions on things to look out for?

Is quite simple to take it off.
The task is getting it back in making sure you do not bend any of the pins.
Unplug the positive cable from the battery.
There are to tabs on the top of the ECM just pull up on them, this will disconnect the ECM from the tabs,  and then slide up and out.

If you have a laptop, you can buy HP Tuners and do everything via e-mail. It is well worth the money.

Only do that after you have disconnected the negative terminal from the battery, because if you ground your wrench while trying to remove the positive terminal you will weld your wrench to whatever you grounded it on.  Not to mention you could fry some electronics in the process.

Lyndon mentioned that I could get and send a different ECM if the service number matches the one I have.  Does anyone know where can I find the service number?  Is it printed on the part and visible?

it is printed on the ecm.
stick a camera with a flash and take some pics to get a good look at the service number

What year and make?  There are only two service numbers for the turbo cars I believe.  1 for the 07's, and 1 other for everything else.
