I would have thought that as well, but according to Mathieu's price post (Below), the cost to anodize is not discounted (bolded below)
I posted the original pricing grid as a question to Mathieu if that was correct and he didn't say the anodizing should be discounted, so I assumed it wouldn't be. I would also think it would be, so maybe he can clear it up for us.

yeah the anodizing is set as an option and is not discounted when do will go thru checkout on the website, options like carbon fiber and anodizing is always extra and not discounted
No longer supporting vendor of KP

Sounds dumb, but how do the MRZ buttress's decklid covers release?  Assume they're just pushed in but is the buttress release switch activated for them to pop out?

Thats a dang good question Chop Top...I guess you release the trunk and they pop off? but the trunk then opens and they would roll down after the release...that can't be the case...I would think maybe they just push on - push off spring loaded...I don't know...anyone know for sure  :idk:

On their web site:
"The covers are all ready to install without having to drill or screw anything to secure them. Just push them into the OEM caps hole and they will clips in there just like when you clip the convertible top into those holes. To remove, simply pop the trunk and pick them up! The caps have an integrated O-ring at the bottom to prevent any contact between the car paint and the billet cap. They cannot be removed unless the trunk is poepped so they wont get stolen."

I don't think you want them to be easy to steal!
Logic would dictate that you would keep one hand on the trunk when popping it open to prevent it from opening too much.

When do we have to make a decision? I wasn't familiar with the products before, but after seeing them, I'm liking the engine bay and gas cap covers. I already have trunk lid covers.

For those of you oversees, if the vendor does not deal with APO's, there are those that can receive and ship your items to you.

MRZ,

A side note you may want to work on:

Everyone make mistakes in forums and emails in regards to grammar and spelling (just ask Critter and Me) but on a companies web site, it just seems unprofessional.  In looking through your website I noticed a few occasions just within the solstice and sky items where some "clean up" could be done.

For those of you that jump all over me, I'm simply trying to help a vendor improve their image. I am certainly not perfect. Think of it like this, you wouldn't want a bunch of errors on your resume would you?  That is the first thing potential employer often see.  A companie's website is their resume for their customers.

Anyway, back to the maybe could be group buy

Also folks, team up with each other!  Trunk lid poppy cover thingy guy, meet engine bay cap cover thingies guy...

Excellent pickup SA.

I'd also go with "it" not "their" as the company is one entity ;)

Northern Sol can place his trunk covers order through me.
Sly Bob can too if he needs to, but I think his post stated Engine Bay Covers, so he may not need to.

I have a set. You click to unlock and hold on to the cover. It will release and you remove. They work great with no issue.
