Yeah it's a holiday in Canada but a Canadian picked the date.  They also said they would set things up for a group buy when ten people said they would buy, has that happened yet?  Also didn't someone say Matt wasn't aware of any group buy and yet Matt is the one that made the posts about it in the first place.

This a case of buyer beware, and given GND's experience people really should be wondering.

Yes, Matt said that at 10 people he would start the group by, but later in the thread he decided to add a deadline so we could see if we could get to 20+ people for the larger discount. It wouldn't have made since to give the first 19 peolpe 10% off, then if it made it to 20, give people from then on 15% off (or try and retroactively refund the other 5% to the first 19 people).

You can see in this post by Matt that he is giving the deadline of May 20th:

All pieces will be made at that time and we will post the updates on the manufacturing process cause there is a lot of work involved into making them. Anodized caps take longer time to make if you purchase them, approx a week. You can see that he amended he previous statement and said that as of the 20th we would be given the link. Now maybe he didn't realize that it would be a holiday weekend, who knows, but i'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.

As to GND, I feel for him and I think it sucks that he didn't get his product. Perhaps MRZ could have handled it better, who knows what really happened. I know that MRZ did try and publicly refund the money, yet GND refused. I also know that others here have said they ordered and received their product without issue (maybe some time delay due to customs). In the end, I am protected if I use PayPal. If I don't get my product, I get my money back. Simple as that. I don't see what risk I'm truly taking except that I may be without $3xx dollars for a while if they don't deliver.

Now maybe you'll be right and in a week or 3 months I'll feel like fool for defending MRZ, but I'll take that risk as well.

I'm unclear if the forum sponsor posted prices or payment requests yet.  Are we just suppose to go to the website and say I'm one of the 20 for the 20% discount.  Basically, since this is their show I've been waiting for them to post information or PM the individuals who have indicated interest on how and when to send payment.  Currently the header is showing this thread has been read 3073 times , so who knows who's taking advantage of this offer.

He will provide a link in this thread to purchase them for the % off depending on how many people say for sure they will be getting them. Right now it is 15% because we got 20 or more. Since yesterday was a holiday in Canada, I'm hoping the link will be provided today so that purchasing can begin.

Hopefully everyone who signed up will come back and actually make the purchase...otherwise it may end up negating the discount for those that do.  From the sounds of it the discount will only be given when 20 people actually order so those that order first may not know what the price actually is.  What is the order deadline??  Does everyone have to hit the link today?  Gotta be a better way to do this

It took us long enough to reach 20 and he has a business to run that I'm sure involves more than sitting around watching this web site. There was also the long weekend up here. If he hasn't gotten back to us within a week, then start b*tching.
. He's done this type of buy before and it worked, so lets have some patience.

Remeber we ship for free on all orders over $250 

Those products are custom and we will process the orders in the order they are received, we can do only a certain amount of parts per day/weeks so there might be delays. Those are custom part and we have to make them to you own specifications. Also be aware that shipping fom Canada to US or oversea can take a few week in the worse cases, normally 10-15 days is the normal delay with the standard shipping. If you need your order rushed with tracking number, please choose the Xpresspost option witch delivers in about 5 business days.

If website is overloaded with customers, it may show that bthe server is too busy, please try later. I got my order in, but I had a set of engine covers saved in my cart and when I signed in, it had 2 and I removed the wrong one (the discounted one) without thinking about it. So basically I didn't get the discount on the engine covers. I emailed and PM'd you about this, but I'm trying to cover all bases. I'm sure you'll be flooded with PMs and Emails today
