Stunner Lights is looking for Flag Bearers...
« on: August 09, 2012, 10:10:31 PM »
Because I'm unable to attend many of the Kappa 'meetings' and 'runs' in the next month,

I must have Gold Medal representatives to display these wares at their gatherings.

So if you've been wanting to install:

LED lighting kit
In-Mirror turn signals (custom-etched or standard)
Grill Lights

PM or call and receive a Partner's rate guaranteed to put a twinkle in you eye.

Jay,

I am out since I no longer have a Kappa, but if you could list some of the upcoming events you are trying to get representation at, it may help a few people decide to take the plunge.

Kappa owner or not GJ, it's good to see you're still on the forum!

Mostly I'm thinking of the folks on the East Coast attending the SMMM9 where I'll have a decent door-prize offered and want attendees to have a installed preview (or installed on-site).

Closer to home are the folks in the PNW but alas, too far for me to attend.

Heck there are many of us that love to get together and will do so now that we're in the last half of Summer. So yes, I need to find flag-bearers in each region including my So Cal crew.

Really GJ, no matter where gatherings occur I'm so pleased to offer quality products. Their showing become a 'talking point' just as some of the magnificent interior LED lighting I've seen at the Nationals.

Flag-bearers wanted to show these offerings, let me know...

Sure, I'm still looking for Flag Bearers!

These grilles are fun to look at and absolutely unique!

Not really noticeable 1/2 a block away, but the valet attendant will definitely smile and make a comment.

And folks crossing in front of you at the stop signal will give you the 'thumbs up'!

All LED's are encased in a plastic coating to make it water-resistant.

Installation hardware and instructions included.

Send me a message and let me know what suits your Kappa!

It was a fun project CT, tested green, red & white.

This was the proof of concept but lacks a photographers touch.

Not visible in daylight but even in underground parking it really makes a statement!

Also easy to wipe away road grime from the plastic covering encasing the LED's.

I'm guessing these will look just great behind custom billet grilles as well.

Are these street legal while driving or do they shut off when in gear?

The wiring provided is intended to tap into the front parking light (in the front-turn socket, it's the inside colored wire). So when the parking lights are on so are these grille lights.

Some customers have added an in-cabin toggle.

I don't know NV law, but in conversations with the CHP (and again as I was fixing a window tint ticket) I was advised that "No changes to auto lighting (other than direct OEM replacement) is permissible". He went on to say '...it wouldn't be an issue (worthy of pulling-over)...'

My guess is if a driver got into a 'yelling match' with an officer, in the end, he's cited for a 'laundry-list' of infractions (grille lights included)...

Sorry Tazzman. I just checked and other than the amber (which I have plenty of), I experimented with red, white and green only.

The key to this product is the plastic-molded frame. The frame is designed to fit behind the grille opening without it or the LED lights being directly visible as viewed from the front. The effect is indirect lighting with less luminescence than the front turn/parking lights.

Also notice that the turn/parking housing is half-lit with the fogs on the bottom half. These grille lights follow the same line so only the top-half of the grille openings are lit.

Reply and I'll send only the frames w/hardware and tape; then  36" of (120led/M, #3528) blue waterproof LED's should be easy to find on the net. Solder, connect and protect anything exposed from the road weather.
