Enginebuilder in So. Cal?

   Any one know of an engine builder/re-builder in So Cal. for the Solstice?

Ray bates is supposed to be one of the best, and he is in costa mesa I believe. He was heavily involved in the NOPI cars and the drag program

However he is very old school and you MUST call him. He doesnt answer email at all from my experience... however you are probably close enough to stop in and talk to him yourself.

how bad is the engine blown up and what are you looking to do with it?  Are you looking to rebuild to stock or are you looking to build something special?

I have a "new" hi-performance 2.4 for my Solstice.   I have become suspicious of the builders workmanship and want someone to check it out before I install.
