Great to see everyone yesterday! Really enjoyed it and the time just shot by. Obviously, everyone will agree the biggest thanks must go to Joe and Dee for the hospitality, effort and opening your home (yet again) to the ravening hordes. Also a big thanks to the cooks and food/drink suppliers!
Photos will follow of the "beach shoot", but a list of notables must include:
- My car turned 4 years old (from delivery date) yesterday, and I didn't even notice! It also turned 15000 miles on the trip to the photo shoot at the beach. I promise to buy her some new oil!
- How can Kelu score such a beautiful and charming wife?
- SHiNY and her squishable semen.
- LittleSal taking over the reins from BigSal and fixing (we hope) Kenny's 'splices'.
- The Wicked '09 Sky with nearly 84000 miles on it that looked like new.
- DBG's 45000 miles Conti DWS's that look like new.
- GJ's flowing locks of hair that look like new.
- Bob-why's face that looked like (well not new)
- DDM Dave working the WHOLE DAY LONG, without benefit of help, except 'Critter the supervisor' (who wouldn't even let him eat).
- OK, so he had some help, from

-batwoman (you had to be there).
- But no help from Ivy (IVY, WE MISSED YOU!)
- Critter blowing horny fuses (no, wait, that didn't come out quite right)
- SHiNY stroking both my and SlyBob's grab-handles while we were swapping (you had to be there)
- Chris (lil'SlyBob), lil'Sal, Elff, Kenny, Excelsior and I re-inventing the internet and the entire world of entertainment technology as a whole.
- Cutie-pie lil'Kenny (who WAS new).
- Who knew that Cheese Balls were a dog's favorite treat?
- Elff's wife Monica, calling me "Elff's Philip". I'm sure that was a complement (well, nearly sure... maybe)
- Peameal Bacon treat. (Thanks SlyBob!)
- My first try of 'coneys' that will be a lasting memory. (Thanks Excelsior!)
- Mmmmm, crock-pot chicken (Thanks ladies! Hopefully iHawk will post the recipe here, 'cos I forgot it already)
- Wartie's beer!
- Critter's corn-cobs.
- The raffle - except that Kelu won EVERYthing. (Still, I'm now ready for a water-pump change, should the need arise!)
- All the attendees, the nicest, warmest, friendliest people you could hope to meet (even IF most of them are Amurcans)
- ... and especially GJ, who worked tirelessly (and extremely grubbily) alongside DDMDave for the whole day, without reward, without car, and yet could
still make fun of everyone and everything (in the nicest possible way). Cheers to GJ.
- And lastly, the beer pong that apparently was kept quiet until after I left (probably because they were all afraid of being shown-up by me).
Truly, thanks to all for a great time and a huge amount of sadness that this will not be repeated next year
