Went to Solo Performance today and was blown away
« on: May 07, 2013, 08:07:49 PM »
I don't know why I'm surprised. Went to Solo Performance here in Welland today and had some work on the car. I had a change I wanted to do on the exhaust before I install the Westers tune and the guys there treated me right. They took care of me and the cost was more than fair.

Also found out that Solo is expanding their manufacturing facilities again. A few years ago they expanded in Mississauga and they are now setting up manufacturing in the Hamilton shop.

I'm not surprised that Solo is so successful. Take care of the customers as they do and success is bound to follow.
Just trying to do my part...

Solo ... Great products and service!  What did you do to your exhaust Bob?

Shortly after I got the system along with a high flow cat, I found that for these older ears it was a little loud for my liking. The thought was to try a resonator upstream of the "Y" where the system splits to go over the differential.

They actually used a resonator from the NA and that didn't work all that well so we soon went to what some others have since done and installed two resonators after the "Y" and before the muffler. Since getting the first resonator I've thought of removing it. Why have three resonators?

That was 3 years ago and with the tune coming soon, now's the time to make the change. If I remove the resonator after the tune, a tweak to the tune might have to be done.

Jeff took care of me and the price for removal, installation of a new "Y" and a piece of 3" stainless pipe was more than fair. Like you said Craig, great products and great customer service. Solo's the best!
