OEM radio scan search

Any of you guys have a similar problem and if so - what was the fix?       

 When I start the rocket now, the satellite (Sirus) starts doing a channel scan.  Takes about 10 mins of fiddlin' with it to get it to stop and stay on my selected channel.
Now this has only occurred after my battery (optima red) went T*t* Up in July, no voltage no unlock fob click, no nothing.  Replaced battery.  Now have super scan. :banghead:

Any thoughts on this?
