It's a door with one of the panels removed
Red leather insert from JPM and door speaker still intact
The last item is a piece of black leather with stitching on it.

I am sorry, but I get the full interior
I am 100% correct and the most exact

It is actually a storage pocket.  I was given the inspiration for the design from a former fiero owner who had something similar back then.  It's really quite convenient.  The assembly is secured with a heavy duty double sided foam tape.  There is an elastic strap that connects the outer edges so the front flap can open as needed but snap back if nothing is inside or to hold papers from blowing out.  The frame of the flap is a 1/32" PVC plastic that is flexible so just about any shape can be stored in it.  The center of the flap is also void of the plastic so fragile objects like sunglasses can be placed inside without being crushed (unless you use it as a knee pad :D).  There are two leather retaining straps that fold inward that keep the pocket from opening beyond its means although the flexibility of the PVC frame allow it to stretch open up to 6".  The cover is black leather of course while the inside is Alcantara to prevent scratching should glasses be kept there and for the nice feel as well.

The first one is on it's way to a customer for testing to make sure it holds up well and the mounting system is durable.  A price point hasn't been set but we're shooting for about $80.

Thoughts/comments on price and product?

BTW, Ben, I can easily make a knee pad in that shape as well.

Sorry, it's actually an OEM SKY door.  No JPM leather on this one.  So close :D

I can't even see the picture at work but I am guessing a JPM-a-roo, pocket to add to pocket on front of the seat so you can carry more crap. Hmmm crap-a-roo, I think that works

Yes please!  Tell me how much and when you can deliver.

It would be OK to round off some of the square corners.  The teardrop shape of the trans tunnel side is great, but I think you will need a little more surface area on the door side.

It also would need to mount a bit higher, so that the pad covered the portion of the door panel removed in your picture.  Which is where my knee fits when bracing against the door in a turn.

Let me know what you come up with, and I will take it!

The pads really are great to brace against when tossing the car from side to side when autocrossing.

I'm working on getting an updated first layer of foam for the knee pads.  A few guys have mentioned that they need a bit more support.  I'll probably roll out a completely updated pad set after nationals when I have a bit more time.

Expect it to be on par with the knee pad (about $60)

Yes tell Alex to do some work today and make me a thicker knee pad, not like he ever does anything anyway, but he does look marvelous doing it though.

One of those guys was me.  A nice gel or closed cell foam would be the ticket.

May I suggest this closed cell silicone rubber stock:

Looks good. I was considering that along with a few others from mcmaster.  The originals do have a layer of closed cell foam to start with, its just not a firm as the link.

Or something a bit thicker, as Goat will surely want.  Could not find the 1/4" firm silicone in 12x12 sheets, but I only looked for a second.

Firm silicone will make a big difference I think.  But I leave it the professional, for sure!

Everyone is wrong.....

It's a static, two dimentional representation of electromagnetic radiation of specific wavelengths and intensities as reflected from various objects portrayed in said representation, captured and digitized by an optical device, reproduced by a monitor, recieved by cone cells of the retinas, stimulating impulses of the the second cranial nerve which are then interpreted by the brain.  (A "picture" for for you simple minded people. - i.e. Critterman)

What did I win??????
