Besides turning up the radio?? If they are the sway bar bushings one could use some synthetic brake caliper grease!! Might be easier than hauling done to a dealership for who knows HOW many hours.

does someone have a pict of the bushings that are part of the TSB so I know what to lubricate?  And what type of synth grease is preferred?

Uh, then you don't know mine, it's pretty noticeable. However, I can't complain since I haven't tried re-greasing the new rear mounts. So, I turn up the stereo and forget about it.

I had mine replaced last year IAW the TSB and the squeak is back.  I just turn up the radio.  I don't want the dealer to have another opportunity to crunch my fenders.  (2 x already)

As you know I have the 09 coupe & as soon as it got cold out it started. Sounds like an old rusty wagon going down the road. I had no idea what it was until I joined this forum. The dealer never seems to duplicate the problems with my car so I don't bother going anymore. I just end up in some stinkin rental that smells like puke  :barf:  and and nothing is changed when I get it back  :gaah:  :gaah:  :gaah:  :gaah:  :gaah:
:worms: I have a leak arround the seal where the roof meets the windshield frame that they can't find, I have a rear end/drivetrane vibration/noise one tech says he can't hear it & the other tech says he can hear/feel it but "has no idea what would cause that"  :gaah:  :gaah:  :gaah:  :gaah:  :gaah:   :gaah: I found the leak myself but I don't trust them to fix it - I will fix it myself. Still looking for info on the rearend vibration. Did I mention I hate leaving my car at the $*#@&^  :censor:  dealer!!!!!!!  :gaah:

There are a couple of options, the easiest is to lube them, it's really easy, jack up the car enough you can get under it, ramps work pretty well. I put it on jack stands just easier for me, there are only 4 15mm bolts, 2 for each bushing. Take them out pull the bushing off lube the inside, I used synthetic grease from Amazon about $5. Put them back, I have read where people wrap the bar with plumbers Teflon tape, it will eventually wear away but should last all winter (calling BQbby the plumber). For about $15 you can get the Energy Suspension 34 mm polyurethane bushing for a 2005 Mustang, it is the exact same bushing as what was on my car after they did the TSB except poly and they use the stock brackets. It has channels (grooves) inside the bushing that hold the grease better. That is what is on my car now, no squeak. Then there are the Prothane bushings with a Zerk fitting so you can grease them without removing the bolts. I have a set of these to test but it has been to damn cold to put them on. Bottom line only one way to get rid of the squeak, and that is to lube the bushing, and you will most likely need to do this every fall at a minimum.

Thanks Comedian, & Bob I thought about taking it to another dealer for service issues but since its all warranty work I figured they would tell me to return to where I purchased it from. I'll have to try another dealer to see what they have to say about the rearend vibration/noise. Thanks

Check your driveshalf.  There have been a couple that I can remember that the bolts were loose, and in on case a couple missing.   Check front and back flanges.

It has always been with GM you can take your car to ANY GM dealership, doesn't even have to be a Pontiac dealer. The advantage of the Pontiac dealership is they may know more about your car. My car has never been back to the dealer I bought it from, as a matter of fact they are out of business.

So a little lithium spray (without removing them) did the trick?

And can I get a better description of exactly what bushings I am looking for and where to find them?  I have the service manuals.....

It's that bar under the front of the car connected the the suspension on both sides.  the bushings are where it is mounted to the frame
