Hi, I have heard from others on the forum, once it gets to 1/4 tank, it drops very fast.  This
happens on mine too.  The low fuel warning comes on at 50 miles left on mine and on my other
vehicles (Mercury Montego).  I have taken it down to 15 miles to go before stopping for gas.

The first seven vehicles I have owned I ran them all out of gas at least once.  But since I got married it happened only one more time.  :-)

The OBDII Monitor/ Code reader I have has a gauge showing fuel level in gallons. You can set an alrm level on it. So it is easy to keep tabs on your fuel.
