Can't wait to see the reply from good ol Buzz.

Not sure if anyone else noticed, but they did have the roadway blocked.

That was pretty cool.

Heading out to dinner right now, but if it is done legally  I have no problem with it. I will take a look when I get back.

Well, other than it was not being conducted in a safe manner, people standing on the side of the roadway. Yes, I dought that it was a legal Drift Race either. I base that on the ones I have watched that are sanctioned and legal.
On the way back from dinner, we did go do a Canyon Rd run just outside of Valencia . Had a very time.

If it was legal it wouldn't be half as cool

Love the Zip ties. I have one bolt and 3 zip ties on all my Jeep fenders.
Allows them to rip right off with no body damage if I catch something.

At least you are consistent Buzz.

Cool when they hurt someone. Instead of just getting sued, they also get to go to jail.

I've said it before and I'll say it again.
I'd rather take my chances with people like these who are actually paying attention to what they are doing, vs the normal idiots you pass every day on the road putting on makeup, txting, emailing, talking on a phone etc.....
The latter ones, even though they are driving the speed limit are way more dangerous and I have a second rear bumper on my sky to prove it.

I watched both videos again..and IMHO it was lack of skill and not knowing his car.  He shifted while turning and accelerating, which will definitely put you into a situation like that.

Can't see if there was traffic coming and he was trying to "jump in" but it appered that he was lookin left as if watching for oncoming traffic.  Bad decision made worse by bad skill.
Just here to help a friend!

I know it took me a little while to get used to the short wheel base and high torque. Even now I have to be "on the ball" whenever giving it the gas at intersections. Only once to I ever come close to "losing it" and all I did to correct was let of the gas. The car immediately snapped back into line.   :gaah:   :D

That's really easy to do with our cars.
It is a lot easier to control the car with upgraded tires.  The RL tires are ok but it is a different car with premium tires and the DDM suspension upgrades.  The first time I did a 180 with the OEMs I was amazed at how easy it whipped around with little throttle, even on hot, smooth pavement.

Speaking of those people, I was on my way to work a few days ago and I stop at the light, look over and the g-damn douche bag is eating a bowl of cereal! I got away from that fool as fast as I could.

I think that section of the Tollway is possessed by evil spirits.  In almost the exact spot, but up on the tollway, I watched from 50 yards behind while a guy in a pickup, hauling an old school rear projection TV in the bed, had the guts of the tv blow out, shatter on the tailgate, and create a 50' high wall of broken glass, spinning in slow motion while I drove my wife's car through it.  It was like a scene from a horror movie.

He had secured the case of the tv very well, but 70 mph wind is a powerful thing.

Wife's car got away with just one nick on the front bumper.

Acting irresponsible on the public roads is a problem when anyone does it. You just seem to like to brag about. Be careful or your Mon or Dad may take your keys away from you.

The not so funny part of the video is he just kept on going not caring if he hurt someone........
Then he turns on his right directional and turns left......
They should of reported a hit and run with the license plate number on the video..  :gaah:
