That was a very good race with lots of nail biting moments and a hell of a finish.

That was unexpected, what a race!

I wonder how many on Merc's pit crew are in quarantine with Ham and how many replacements they had.

Toto called what it was in his post race interview.

He wasn't wrong with that description.

I wonder if team pink is rethinking the Vettal/Perez thing now?  I fully believe Vettal will continue to suck with the new team next year.

Is the car not the driver. This point has been made with George Russell. Vettel has the engine replace and was given and old one.

So LV you think #44/63 is a totally different car than #77?   Russell ran off and left Bottas in his dust fishtailing out of turn 1 and causing all kinds of havoc.    Driver not car.  Restart the once again left Bottas in an identical car in his dust.  Driver.

Bottas cannot catch and pass in traffic,  Russell did after his double tire change from 15th to 2nd before the puncture, and from 15th to 9th the second time.  Driver again.  Yes the car is fast but you still have to be able to drive it.

Toto was classic, there was no better way to describe it :)

Checo, Ocan, and Stroll who would have thunk it.

Did anyone watch the interview with Romain?  Depends of who you listen to, it was either 42 or 52 g's of deceleration.  Jet fighter pilots have inflation suits to keep them from passing out at around 7 g's, yet he stayed conscience the entire time and had to try and get out 3 or 4 different times before getting out.  Martin Brundle the announcer said that the onboard camera's were still working after the accident and he saw the film.

I think Perez really showed that he should be in F1 next year.
Last couple of races, shy of the dnf due to mechanical failure he has been crushing it.
[ I was going to say on fire, but that's literally Grosjean  ]

Russell completely out drove Bottas all race.  Critterman nails all the points.   Shy of that major f-up in the pits, Russell had that race in the bag.  He may have snagged first place if the tire did not get a puncture.  Granted Bottas was on trash tires so he could not really fight.

The results of this weekend are kind of Karma for last weekend for Racing Point.  Great finish

Perez was on fire at the end of last weeks race too, literally.

If they hadn't ordered Bottas to box and then F up his tires he would have probably finished much better off because that pit probably cost him 30+ sec and he still had the old tires after.

Vettal has been on a downward trend for a while now even when he was getting podium finishes a few years ago it was when he was demo derbying his rivals that could have beat him.

Critterman.
I should have elavorated more. That car has an edge on the 77 car, just like the 16 car has a big edge over car number 5. The driver yes has a part on it, however if you have the best car on the padock and the kind of drivers they are, you have a winning combination. I am not the only one saying this, if you listen to the commentators they mentioned it multiple times. I am not taking anything away from George, he did a superb job, but put Ves, or Gasly or a lot of others F1 drivers on the 44 car and they will be right up front must of the time.
Case in point is the pink team and what they have done this year, with a car that is pretty much a copy the the MB car.

Love these 8am EST broadcasts.
Woke up, fed the animals, took the dogs out back, got coffee

Sitting down and waiting for the race to begin.

A little sad it's the last one of this season.

Unfortunately That was a boring race, but Verstappen drove perfectly and MB for once did not have an answer.  Totally sucked that Perez's car failed and that cost them 3rd in the Contructors.  Mclaren had a killer season,  I still think Sainz made a bad career choice and Ricciardo is jumping into a car that has a great chassis and should have a better engine next season.

We will have to see what final team changes there are and if Perez ends up anywhere.   Boggles my mind that the driver in 4th doesn't have a ride.

Yes, pretty boring race. Well maybe he can go an take the seat of Danny K. Do not discount Ferrari for 2021, they are coming out with a new enhance engine and other enhancement per Ferrari.
Ricardo made a good move, however Renault with Fernando coming onboard may have some enhancements also.

Isn't Schumacher going to Haas?

I am looking forward to seeing what McLaren does next year.

I think Racing point made a mistake with Preze/Vettal but we'll see.

Albon is another one to wonder about, maybe Red Bull will pick up Perez maybe not.

i think Albon's seat is safe.  He tied for 5th in the driver standings and will only get better.  I think Red Bull understands that and with them taking second in the constructors, he delivered what they needed to beat Ferrari.
I will be totally shocked if he does not drive for Red Bull next year.
