LNF, LDK and LHU
« on: August 25, 2011, 04:50:35 AM »
you all know the new LNF version placed in the Opel Insignia and the Buick Regal.
The LDK is a "light" version of the LNF rated at 220hp and the LHU adds E85 flex-fuel capability to the LDK

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GM_Family_II_engine#LDK

My question is, "are these motors interchangeable with the LNF?"
or do they use different parts that make them non-interchangeable.
if anyone knows, pls chime in..

The 2012 Buick with 260 or 270hp will be very similar to the LNF, and you could probably drop one into a Kappa.
