That's a tough one. After a crappy day at work, this car put's a smile back on my face everyday as I work myself through the highway traffic that eventually thins out after about 10 minutes of travel and then I can whiz past people.

I really had fun at the NY mod meet this winter. Got to meet a lot of great people, watch some really cool mods going on including my header. I love Spiky's pic with all the vendors. While Jeff and I had hung out a couple times working on my exhaust and dynoing the prototype headers, it was really cool to meet Dave and Randy and Norm . I wish I could have stayed the whole weekend.

Other than that, I had a blast just a couple days ago chasing a 300ZX up the highway. Came up behind him in a little traffic. As it cleared he hit it and so did I, but I was in fifth which didn't work out to well. We kept coming up on traffic and having to slow back down until they moved over. We did this about 3 or 4 times. By the last time we did it I found I was slowly catching him somewhere around a buck ten or so :drive:. Probably the hardest I've run the car except for 0-60 attempt or two.

Well, I don't have a Solstice...

...But the most fun I've had in my Sky was easily the first time I took this car on a REAL mountain road. It was a sunday afternoon in Febuary. (I think, might have been early march...) Ran into a thunderstorm when driving through Front Royal, was a sight to see. Headed south on 80 and turned off the interstate to cross the mountain on 211. The smile that road put on my face lasted the rest of the ride home.

Kerrville 2009 was quite the blast. From slowly winding along with a lazy river to dancing on a mountaintop with downhill doglegs and  400 foot dropoffs. Oh, and riding shotgun ... is not on my Top 10 List.

Recently I was on the south 405 near the Costa Mesa cutoff doing about 80 in medium traffic, when a 911 blew past me doing about 95.  :idk: I decided that this just wasn't gonna happen, so once the lane opened up next to him I blew past him at about 110.  :drag: Naturally he wasn't impressed, so he tried to do the same to me again, but had to scramble over into my lane, right behind me, when his lane closed up all of a sudden.  :cryin: About that time I saw a red flasher come on in the rear view mirror. The 911 got pulled over, and I was still just cruising along minding my own business.  This was tons of fun, but a tad risky. Porcshe baiting can be a double edged sword at times.  ;)

Way to difficult to narrow it to one time.

I will say the recent solo trip to Myrtle Beach with golf clubs riding shotgun certainly rates high on the list
The Dells trips, all of them.
Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix, all of them.
The very first SOS in 2006, top down through rain, sleet and snow. The very start of all the madness that has followed.

Easy call for me, I'd say any of my solo trips over 8 hours were the best.  Top down, bags in the seat, a barrage of mp3's and a full tank of gas--go!  Windburn and sunburn imminent but ignored.  ...makes me want to take a trip.  :drive:

I have to agree with Devoking on all the Dells get togethers and the first SOS in 2006, the run that started it all, and a lot of new friendships, too.

Traveling across the country in 2006 for the very first time, with my silly son. Rick and the Pacific NW Club brought me down Copper something Road in Oregon - it was the quickest, sickest and most beautiful twistie I've ever been on and I laughed the entire time. Just fantastic.

Hmmm...this one might not qualify, since the question asks "in your kappa." Pat and I were installing a backbone and pro-beam on GXPsy. The front end was up on Rhino ramps, the rear end was up on floor stands. Our trusty shop comforter was covering the ground. After the parts were instaled we started cleaning up and putting the tools away. We saw a wrench under the middle of the car - Pat crawled under from one side...I crawled under from the other. The race was on to see who could get there first. There was some incidental contact during the process, and, well...one "touch" led to another...and another...it was a good thing we were already hot and sweaty. You know, those Rhino ramps really don't leave you much room...And I don't want to see any replies with:  :ttiwwp:

Hey Critterman, thanks for asking. So far everything seems to healing well. I've even been told I'm a bit ahead of the norm for recovery. I guess it really did help to be in good shape before the surgery. The frustrating part is having a new kappa in the driveway (Rogue) and not being able to play with it - Rogue that is. Heck, now that I've lost 18 lbs we might find that the Rhino ramps provide more room than we thought! hehehehehe
