FS: 2008 Saturn Sky Redline
« on: February 01, 2013, 12:05:18 PM »
Time has come to part ways.  :(

THINK SPRING!!!  Beautiful Bluestone 5 speed with black leather seats and  interior. Dealer  installed GMPP (General Motors Performance Parts and GM approved)  tune adds another 30 horsepower and 80 pound feet of torque to an already quick roadster! Zero to 60 times are in the 4.7/4.8 second range. All that performance and the car still averages 25+ mpg!  Additional chassis bracing (DDM 1/4" thick backbone replaces the thin gauge stock unit) makes a great handling car even better when the road gets curvy. Car also has a chrome billet grille, premium chrome wheels, chrome billet gas, brake and clutch pedals,  color matching shift console and the Magna-Flo cat back exhaust gives a very nice sporty rumble you won't confuse with the Ricer crowd... That was the good news. Now for the great news! The car had a factory new engine installed  in Jul 2011. The factory new engine has less than 12,000 miles! If you live in the Vegas area and are interested let me know so I can arrange a personal showing. I am located in the Aliante Casino area. This car won't last with spring on the way.  A/C ice cold,  Excellent condition, Looks & drives great, Mostly highway miles, Must see, Never seen snow, Non-smoker, One owner, Satellite radio, Title in hand, Very clean interior. This is a well maintained southern car (Florida and Nevada).

Asking $17,495.00 but will offer at a discounted price of $16,745.00 to forum members!

The RSA's did not come with the vehicle stock and are known to be crap.  Those came on the N/A model.

I highly suggest you at least install the F1s, but IMHO, there are better tires that will cost you less money and help sell the car.

If I was a potential buyer and saw the RSA's, I would immediately ask you to drop the price by $1000

Which tires would you recommend? (other than the stockers)

Opel GT stockers, Birdgestone RE-50A Pole Position ... or it was 55A?

Sumito HTR III's are a very good summer tire, but not cold weather.  They are a lot cheaper than the Stock F1 and RSA's.

Barring the All-Suck, the cheapest summer tire at TireRack for 245/45/18 is Kumho ECSTA LE Sport at $137 each.  The next up is Sumitomo HTR Z III which, when compared to the LE Sport, has better test results and it's only $6 more.

Not time for me yet. Plus, it's missing 4 cylinders.

Good luck!

Don't worry about those extra 4 Cylinders
They haven't helped the C6 or Mustangs in my area.

For a short time I guess we actually owned a kappa with 8 cylinders. But then they crated half of them up and sent them away!

That looks really sharp.  I always liked that color.  If you are patient, you will get what you want for it.  That's super clean.

No wonder it cost so little to license your car, it looks like some kid finger painted the things.

Thanks elff! We're in no rush to sell it so we'll see what happens. I must admit it looks a bit better in pictures than real life... but not much!
