I had an epiphany! (I do have them from time to time!) I just remembered I still had the tires from my GXP sitting in storage from when I switched to 19's. Got them swapped over to the Red Line for only $50.00!!! They still have 15K or so left in 'em (or 25K the way the wife drives).  :D

Just had a very nice detail job on the car and am now worried if the wife sees it she will change here mind... Also had a guy on base remove several small door dings (6 total) for only $100.00! And he did a very good job too!

First the person wanting to trade is in Colorado so they would have to send me the jewelry so I could get it evaluated. Second who would trade 25K worth of anything for a 17K car? I'd say the odds are extremely high this is a scam! I emailed them back and told them to sell the jewelry, get a cashiers check for the price of the car and pocket the difference. Surprisingly, I have yet to hear a reply...   :D

I had a similar experience with a scam when I was selling my previous convertible.
Yes, they do believe that you might be that stupid; if not you, it was worth a shot because their Mark is out there... They just have to keep pitching until someone swings.
